Chapter 13

Elena got up the next morning. It was 8. She got up being careful not to wake him. She was always up before him. She hoped that he didn't know how she woke up each monday. It was usually laying on his chest.

She got up and smelt coffee. She knew her sister was up. She went to the kitchen  and made a cup then went to find her sister. She found her in the back patio starring off into the sunset.

"Are you ok." Elena went and sat next to her."Katherine it's ok."

Katherine looked at her and shook her head. Tears welling up in her face."No it's not. I ruined your life. Because of me your life went haywire."

Elena sighed."No you didn't . My life is great. I like the single life. I like my kids. I'm happy they have a father that actually cares about them. And it's just worried about having a kid to pass his fortune to. I like what i do. I like getting to come and just sit with them. My relationship with Damon was toxic. I would have never taken that next step. I couldn't i wouldn't have trusted him with a kid. I might have actually ran away to paris then raise a kid with him."

Rebekah walked over."You realize you just said you rather raise a kid with my brother right."

They all chuckled. Then Elena said."Yes, I know what i said. He may be extremly cocky and sometimes very annoying and drives me nuts but he's a good father to them."

Katherine nodded slightly looking at her sister."I texted Jeremy he said he would call today."

"I'll call him later i haven't seen him yet. Will get you out of that contract Kat." Elena said.

"I'm scared" Katherine nodded."I think i'll see if i can stay with Jeremy until i get on my feet."

Elena groaned."Katherine."

"You have kids and a life Lena i won't do that to you again. I'll stay with Jeremy i'll be fine."

"Katherine. You know that is not true it was not your fault. He just a physcopath" Elena said.

"I know but look at what i did. You were going through a lot already and then that happened."

"It's fine Kat. I'm serious."

"Behind you."Rebekah said.

Elena turned around and seen her daughter walking around in the house."I'll be right back." Elena walked inside and sat down her coffee and picked up Kylie."Morning."

"Hi Mama."

Elena took Kylie up stairs and got her dressed for the day and when she came back down Kyle and Kol were up."I thought you weren't a morningg person." Elena teased.

"Well i got hit with a bean bag."

"I know fun right." She looked towards the door."Y'all can come in."

Rebekah and Katherine walked in."Didn't know if you were coming back out or not guess my answer is no."

"Why is everyone up,"

"It's a monday Bekah." Kol sighed.

Katheine's phone started to ring."It's Jeremy i got to take this."

"Tell him i'll meet you to after work we can go out. I should probably see him being that i've already been here over a month."

"Ok." Katherine answered the phone and walked back outside to talk to Jeremy.

"Wait you still have not seen your brother." Rebekah asked.

Elena shook her head."Nope i haven't."

"What the hell is wrong with you. Why wait to see him."

"Rebekah." Elena groaned.

"Fine fine your right thats fair i guess and i understand why you did it i just don't like it."

"Take them when you see your brother he deserves to see his niece and Nephew." Kol suggested.

"Are you two just going to double team me."

"Yes."

Elena went into the grill with Kyle and Kylie in there stroller she went and took a seat at a table. People were starring at her and that irruitated her. Soon Jeremy and Katherine came in. Elena got up and gave Jeremy a hug."I missed you Elena."

"I'm stubborn." Elena sat back down next to the twins were sitting in booster seats."So how have you been."

Jeremy and Katherine sat across from there sister."Graduated from Art school. Last year. What about you?"

"Well a few weeks after i graduated from college and i got my RN lisense I went to a bar got drunk and few weeks later learned that i was pregnant. And up and moved to New York got a job there at a hospital. Had them went through a difficult labor. I had took them to a doctors appointment and apparently there was a missing alert any means possible so they without my permission took a DNA test from my children. I knew who there father was. And then next thing i know the sisters are all at my door. Hayley was sent by him to get me back peacefully and Freya was using force. And was sent by her mother to get her heir. She threatened to sue me."
