4 months later
They were all in the backyard for the gender reveal Elena had on a white dress in the front stopped at her knees in the back stopped at her ankles it was pink and blue everywhere. Rebekah and Caroline had really wanted to do a gender reveal for them.

Elena and Kol were standing by Rebekah and Caroline who were telling them how the Reveal was going to go."So Rebekah, Bonnie Hayley and I know the gender and instead of telling people what your having and letting them buy it we just made them send money and brought it in the right gender."

"They sent money we bought it and wrapped it so that we didn't spoil the gender." Rebekah clarrified.

"Ok." Elena smiled.

"How are we going to do the reveal Bex." Kol asked he loved how happy his sister was but she was forgetting key information.

"Umm Caroline." Rebekah looked over to her sister in law.

"We got a balloon Bekah." Caroline sighed shaking her head slighly."There is a balloon filled with Confetti and you two are going to hold it and pop it and it will either be blue or pink. And that will tell you what you are having."

"Ok."

"So everything is in theme the background for the pictures blue and pink the cake is blue and pink everything is blue and pink but the gifts are specific"

"Ok." They were so excited to do that they had been dating for four months and the pregnancy had changed everything.

Kol was holding the needle while Elena had the pin everyone was crowded around them so that they could do it. She had a son and a daughter she wasn't really picky about what the nexxt baby would be. But she was excited to learn what she was having.

He was excited to be there for the firsts this time since he wasn't with Kylie and Kylie,

"Y'all Ready."

"POP IT!"

Elena popped the balloon and her and Kol were both covered in Pink coffetti."IT'S A GIRL."

2 months later
Elena was sitting on the couch eating ice cream and pickles it was one of her cravings it was weird but it was what the baby wanted so she was eating it.  The kids were down for a nap and Kol was at work over the past few months things had changed and she was excited. They were going strong and that's all she wanted for them. Her schedule had changed and she was now working with OBGYN's which payed more but also gave her more free time.

Rebekah walked into the house with Caroline Freya Haley who all had bags from the baby store."I said don't go to the baby store." She got off the couch and put her hand on her bump she didn't want them to go shoppiing.

"Well i don't listen." Rebekah set the bags down and walked over to her best friend."So she kicking. And can i feel."

"You touch my stomach i break your hand."

The rest of the girls walked over Freya and her had become civil to say the least."So how you feeling."

"Good they did not want to go down for there nap and where is Bonnie." She usually seen all of them together.

"She didn't want to go to the baby store she went to the news station some article they wanted her to work on."

Caroline crossed her arms and looked at her best friend."Since when do you eat pickles."

"Since thats all i wanted and Ice cream. What did y'all get."

"They dragged me to the store." Hayley groaned."But we only got clothes the rest you will get at your baby shower saturday. So where are the older siblings to be."

"Sleeping in there rooms like i should be."

"It's 4"

"And when i was pregnant was them i was sleep more than i was up they didn't want to go down last night and i had twins which requires both parents being up putting them to sleep otherwise neither of them would have went to sleep and they had to be put down at the same time and i had to get up early for my shift."

"You choose to work."

"Thats because i need my own money even if recently i have been spending your brothers money."

"Fine will leave but i'm taking Kyle and Kylie with me you can sleep but you also need real food cause your probably not going to get back up."

"I'll be back up your brother knows to wake me when he gets home."

"Well i still got them for the night."

Elena was sleep in her bed when the light turned on. She turned over rubbing her eyes seeing Kol standing at the door way. She sat up looking at the time. It was only six she slept about two hours. She was happy that he was home.

"How long you been sleep?"

"Just two hours Rebekah took the twins, she said that she wanted to take them for the night."

"I got food want some."

She nodded lifting the cover off of her and getting out the bed."What did you buy?"

"Pizza wings fries."

"I want fries." She stood up placing her hand on her bump.

He walked over to her and took her hand."Come on you two need to eat." He knew that she did sometimes forgot to eat doing everything so he made sure that she did.

"Ok."

To say the least things had changed since the day they conveived Madalynn. She was more sure of herself and not worried about things turning out bad. And he felt more free even if technically he was more tied down now. Work no longer was no longer the most important thing his family was.
