Ahsoka stood firmly, her lightsabers pointed out fiercely, equipping herself for whatever was to come next. She heavily fortified her defences, twirling her lightsabers, aiming at the Zabrack.
"Darth Sidious."
Then her men came, blasting through the front lines. Ahsoka would've wished for more in-depth detail, however, he was cut short when Maul ignited his blades and lunged them at her. She excretely blocked it with both sabers, followed by a wide range of lightsaber collisions.
His sinister red blade locked against hers, both staring into each other's soul. Her eyes bloomed a beautiful bright blue while his were dark, droopy and deadly.
"Not yet."
He pushed Ahsoka back with the force and sent Rex's body flying towards her. She dropped but soon recovered, ordering her men to get after the snollygoster.
"Darth Sidious is the sith lord who orchestrated the clone wars and played both sides of it from the beginning. I first learned the name from Count Dooku, though any chance of learning more about Sidious from Dooku has been lost."
"Why?"
"Because Count dooku is dead. Anakin killed him while rescuing the chancellor. With Dooku gone we've lost a vital link to understanding the mysteres of darth Sidious. If you can capture Maul, he may be able to provide the missing pieces to this puzzle."
"Then send me more men."
"Unforutnately I cannot, I'm being sent to hunt down General Grevious on Utapau."
"What about Anakin, maybe he can reinforce us."
"May I speak to Ahsoka, alone for a moment?"
Rex and Bo walked off.
"Anakin's on a special assignment by order of the jedi council."
"What kind of assignment?"
"He's been instructed to observe the chancellor and report his findings."
"Observe, you mean spy. They told him to spy on the supreme chancellor? Why?"
"The senate has allowed the supreme chancellor to remain in office long after his term has expired. The council wants to know what his true intentions are."
"The chancellor has been a great friend and mentor to Anakin, I can't imagine he is happy about this." She affirmed, thinking back to the events erstwhile.
"No, he is not. So perhaps it is best that you do speak with him."
"And what? Defend the council's actions? I hardly think I'm the best person for that."
"Ahsoka, the council, isn't always right, that is why I am asking for your help."
"I am here to bring you to justice."
"Justice is merely the construct of the current power base, a base which according to my calculations, is about to change."
"And Darth Sidious is behind it?"
"Yes behind everything. In the shadows always but soon very soon, he will reveal himself."
"With your help, the Jedi can stop Sidious before it's too late."
"Too late for what? The republic to fall It already has and you just can't see it. There is no justice, no law, no order except for the one that will replace it."
"The time for the Jedi has passed. They cannot defeat Sidious, but together, you and I can."
"Every choice you have made has led you to this."
"I will help you. But you must answer one question."
"You have but to ask."
"What do you want with Anakin Skywalker?"
"He is the key to everything."
"To bring balance to the force?"
"To destroy. He has long been groomed for his wrong, as my master's new apprentice."
"You lie." I argued, hoping he was only trying to jargogle my thoughts.
"I'm afraid not in fact, I was so certain of his fate that I orchestrated this war to lure him here with Kenobi, to kill him, thus depriving Sidious of his prized pupil."
"I know Anakin, your vision has flawed."
"I see the Padawan needs one last lesson."
He twirled his blades, ready for yet another heated duel. Releasing a long-enraged screech, he spun towards the Jedi with brute force, swiping his blades against hers as she deflected them with ease. The two dance furosiously, moving in rapid speed.
Maul smashed Ahsoka's face with his elbow, distracting her long enough to swing her lightsaber out of her hand. He then continued his attacks, spinning his lightsaber everywhere; smacking, slashing, slamming and just bombarding her with perilous attacks.
Ahsoka however, was a well-trained, capable warrior. With one lightsaber in hand, she still summoned enough strength to block all the offenses. Finally, she managed to deliver a kick to his face, returning the favour, before calling her lightsaber back to her.
She consistently spun and fidgeted her blades, twirling and twisting using her athletic skills with much effort in order to avoid him.
He indigently slashed multiple times but none successful. Ahsoka was a month away from earning her rank as knight, ergo, puncturing the girl will be no easy task.
Their blades locked: green against red. She dipped down and ducked under him delivering the dumbass to the downside of the door, though it did not dismay dis dude's dark dauntless dispute despicable disposition. (Okay sorry I'm done.)
Ahsoka also jumped out the window, doubtlessly deliberate in trying to locate the Zabrack. She used the force as well as her lightsaber to halt her fall, slowly gliding down the outline of the tall infrastructure.
Spotting the sith lord, she hoisted herself up until she hit roof. Afterwards, she further dashed behind the cockalorum distinctively, gritting her teeth as she did so.
Emerging from behind she swung her substantial sword sturdily, both fixed on the Zabrack. She deliberately chopped off his legs and forced him to kneel at her mercy. Thus, arresting him of his crimes thereof.
Well Ahsoka didn't leave the order in this story so you'd expect her to be much more talented.
Erstwhile: Things that aren't current, that belongs to a former time
Jargogle: To confuse or jumble
Snollygoster: A person who has intelligence but no principles
Cockalorum: A small man with a big opinion of himself
Since it's almost Christmas, I would race to finish off the story before the 25th. Because once again, I wanna do something Christmas themed and happy at the end of the book.
