Shitty teenage poems filled with angst

Father

And her father left her
with broken promises
And an addiction to alcohol
She resented him for coming
home every night collapsing
into the walls and reeking of vodka
He left home and acted as if the days of
screaming and the nights of creating holes
in the walls never happened
Now he has a new family
And a new child that sees him as
the guy who kisses them goodnight
and who passes on drinking to cope every opportunity he gets
Now she is left behind
Soaking in hatred for the person she
hated the most
