-Louis

I didnt intend for this to happen, it wasn't  intentional. Ashton and I's friendship just matured ensuing these few days that I've been left alone. He's been great company and after a exchange of numbers and a few trysts outside of school we've become imminent.

Liam and Niall have both grown fond of him upon there return and he's now a approved addition to our now reduced group of mates. Zayn has been veritably busy while Courtenay accompanies him in his 'business'. And Harry has been a topic that gets rebooted when brought up.

Niall is still indifferent of him and Liam no doubt feels disinclination towards him while Ashton just seemed to be enjoying our company. Like now, while we were sat at Subway joking about a dolt that bursted into his class earlier. When we destrained from our laughter I daintily giggled out. "And he didn't catch him?"

"No, he ran so quickly. Mr. Flaharty tried to catch him, he ran all the way to the terminal. He was close though, but no cigar." Ashton voiced with a jubilant smile on his face. I shook my head and continued winnowing the nuts out of my macadamia nut cookie, being careful not to break it so that it can be eaten whole.

"Why do you do that?"

"Hmm?" I saw it was Ashton who asked. "Oh. I enjoy the cookie's taste but not the nuts."

He laughs. "I'm pretty sure the nuts are like the main ingredient though. You're destroying the perfection." He told, popping the acerbic nut into his mouth. I screwed my face in unclouded disgust, gorging on my nut-less cookie.

"You're foul."

I looked over to Niall, smiling as I saw he was fondled into LIam's side. Liam uses the one hand that isnt sheathed around Niall to pick and eat the pickles out of their mutual meatball sub while Niall ate the actual sandwhich. It was a delicate sight. It's an inexplainable contentment that's found when I see Niall happy. His tidy teeth are always on display with his sunlit roseate cheeks high enough to cause mass under his eyes. He strikes as being reposed and just...blissful.

"I'll be in the loo." I said, hoisting myself and purging my hands off on my cardigan.

"I'll come with." Niall said, and I wish he had not. Flowing out of LIam's protective anchor he kissed his lips sweetly before linking arms with mines and roaming into the Omega Males toilets.

I stuffed myself  into a stall, sitting on the closed seat while I saw and heard Niall's loud feet totter over to the sinks. I raced my hands in and out of my hair, and down my neck. My fingers grazed lightly at Harry's and I's bond mark, not as fresh as it was weeks ago and the sole thought of that ignites my tears and quiescent wails. On the other side of the door Niall's humming to himself as he utilizes the hand dryer.

His feet are tapping when a soft "I'll see you outside, Lou." is heard and the clicking of the door sounded. A bark brutally rips itself from my throat, sending me into a vicious convulsing frenzy. I am unsure as to why only now- at this moment -everything decides to crash down on me. And I never expected it to hit so consolidatedly.

The truth is that it hurts because it's real, it hurts because it matters, and it matters because I can't just get over it. Who could?  And the truth that I have come to terms with is that Harry isn't coming back.

The stone had white spottings predominating it. The slate tone to it made it look spiffy and darling. The thoughts were extaneous though because it was just another to be washed away. I raised my hand in the air, flicking my wrist and let it go, watching as it aspired  and level into the rushing waters of the creek. I layed back on the blanket, the same blanket that Harry and I layed on, in this same spot. The sun is setting and the cool air is initiating the ebite of my skin though I wear proper clothing.

I can see the switft fluctuation of wings as the scarlet tangers sway up above in accord. I feel at ease, as though my mind is finally at rest after all of the tumult. My tear ducks have gone dry and my heart have gone still in my chest.

I feel free.

"All in the eye of the beholder - Some of the most destructive forces in the world; fire and water, can also have the power of beauty."

I recognized the voice and found myself unfazed when he snuck upon me because not much people know of said spot.

"I never knew you as one to be anapestic." I mentioned offhandedly, still looking off into the distanceof the far afield backwoods.

"Yeah, well..." He took a seat. "After being best mates with a minnesinger it grows on you."

"I thought we weren't going to bring him up?" I asked dubiously. Liam raises his hands in defence. I examine his face breifly, noting that his swelling has gone down imencely and he would look brand new if you can look past the debilitation in his eyes. I know then that he misses him too.

"We agreeed to no names. In actuality you brought him up." I respired, laying back and watching the darkening sky. We were silenced for a spell before he concluded it with a ductile sigh and even softer words.

"Let's face it Louis. He is still your mate. You love him and he loves you. What he did and is directly doing is wrong but what you and him have is so fucking strong that we all feel it. Something like this is not meant to be mangled, Louis. It's not."

I say nothing. Not because I'm afraid, not because of tears, I remain in silence because he's right. I knew it, from the start of course but to hear it from the Alpha male that was brutally overthrown by my mate makes it so much more imperative.

"Kindlesbay."

"Hmm?" I asked confused by Liam's fluky words.

"Kindlesbay, over in the countryside. Secluded cabin in the woods. I'd like to beleive that's where your mate is." Fleetly I was on my knees in front of Liam, eyes wild with dubiety.

"Are you sure, Liam? How-how do you know?" My voice quivers with vigor though I know I cannot frighten the answer out of the Alpha who can make me submit like that.

"Their family's cabin is where Des usually sends either him when he's in rut and Des Doesn't want them to be around Anne. I'm almost positive that he's there." Liam muttered. I was aghast, I found myself lost of words once again as I rest back on the heels of my feet. Lazily a smile lurks onto my face because I can be with him. Instead of anticipating and masking as though he was never there or that he never left I can go to him and bargain the motive of all of it.

"But, why? Why do you tell me now?" I asked. Liam breathed, sitting back in his overused plastic chair.

"I love Harry. He is like a brother to me. We always have some figure of falling outs. We're Alpha's it's what we do, we fight. But, in the end it always circle into a thing of the past." He rubs his eye. "But I was afraid. I was afraid because I know what he can do. I know how he gets. When Niall came to me crying his fucking eyes out I thought that he had hurt him. I thought that he lost it again." Liam's breathing gets shallow and tufted.

I whined low in m throat, catching his attention quickly when he heard the soft cries of an Omega.

"Can I hug you?" I asked in respect. With a small smile he nods his head and I encircled my arms securely around his neck from my position prostrate in front of him.

"Can you tell me what happened?" He shook his head, then taking his hands and removes my arms from around his neck, holding them in both of his, massaging my palms as he does.

"No. No, you have to speak to him about it. No one can get inside his head or heart that way but his mate. Go to Kindlesbay and go get him."
