"The Alpha male is endowed with leadership qualities and is smart, elegant, successful, confident, and keeps things under control with or without dominating others." Mr. Hemmings wrote the statement on the board and I was quick to write it in my crammed notebook. I've been paying specific attention to both Sex-Ed and Sub Omega. I've not realised before how useful the information is.

"Babe, you know you don't have to write every word he says." Harry whispered from his seat beside me, and I just wave him off, returning my attention to the lecture.

"The hallmark of an Alpha is his behavior. The Alpha represents himself as a confident player and makes sure that his position and authority is never questioned. He stands out differently from the A/B/O groups and his dominant body language conveys that he is under control of the situation. He talks less, but talks smart." Mr. Hemmings eyes scans the classroom and for some foolish reason I feel as though he was speaking directly to me.

Is this why Harry is so endearing and wanting of control? Is this why he dislikes my defiance so much?

"Everyone with me so far?" Mumbles of 'yes' sounds throughout the class as he continued.

"Good," he clapped his hands.

"Now, my dear Alpha's, I hate to expose us but; Omega's, take note: Here are 10 characteristics of Alpha behavior."

I glance over at Harry to him roll his eyes. I took his hand in mine, sending him a smile before heading up a new subtitle.

"Number one; Never qualify themselves. 'Qualify' meaning that they never brag or even remotely explain things. We don't say 'I'm tired right now.' or 'I'm really hung over.' unless to their bonded mates, of course. But, you get the point. We don't care about the opinion of other Alpha's. Simply put, we think we're badasses."

Mr Hemmings said most of the class laughed, but not the Alpha's. They either looked bored, or annoyed. Harry began to play with my fingers. I looked over and he sent me a smile.

"Now, number two; Has his own reality. We aren't surprised by what's happening around us. We're calm, composed, and never lose poise, unless our mates are involved. If you haven't take notice Omegas. You.Are.In.Control."

Are we? Am I?

"Number three; Takes his sweet time talking. People having low self esteem chat and stutter whenever they speak due to lack of self-confidence. However, the Alpha male and sometimes female take their time because they know that the spotlight is on them. Number fou-"

"-But what if they have a mate? Doesn't that mean the spotlight shines on them both?" Nima, a pretty unbonded Omega asked.

"Good question Nima, and yes, I suppose that is true. Next time, raise your hand dear." Nima blushes and slouched in her seat.

"Number four; Holds activities and conversation down.Number five; Never impressed. Whenever you try to seek out the approval of the Alpha, he'll show you that he's bored by your act, unless..." Mr. Hemmings points to the class.

"You are their mate." Mostly us Omegas responded.

"Exactly! Now, number six; Has limited contact with other Alphas if not necessary. Number seven; Has a sarcastic and twisted sense of humor." Mr Hemmings looks around again. Is he talking to me?

"Number eight; Doesn't even mind. He doesn't care about the little stuff that other people sweat about. Don't try to show off your emotions in front of him, because if you do, he'll just ignore you. We don't mind people around us. Our priorities are our mates, our pups, and ourselves."
