"Well, naturally you'd think that meeting Harry was the best day of me life. But, I think I've got a better day." I almost laughed out at the memory and I feel Harry's body shift so that we're now at eye level. His brow is raised in curiosity.
"Well, come on then! Don't keep us waiting." Niall clapped excitedly and bounced on Liam's lap.
"Well, I was in grade one, and this Alpha male really had a thing for me," Harry's body tensed and I hold back the urge to roll my eyes at the Alpha. Instead I cuddled closer for both our sakes since the cold winds seems to be affecting me without his warmth.
"He always asked for my phone number and I didn't even have a phone, or like him so I actually gave him a fake number. One day he just had the audacity to come up to me and kiss me. And he kissed me hard too! And my 7 year old little mind was completely shocked! Getting kissed back then to me was like loosing your virginity, so I literally went to the sink and washed my whole face. I was disgusted. And on top of that I was so scared that my mum would find out and like yell at me for letting him kiss me at such a young age. And thinking back on that now, how my thought process was years ago makes me laugh so hard!" But I seemed to be the only one laughing.
"Really? That's the best day of your life?" Niall shrieked from atop Liam. I just shrugged in response.
"Not 'best' in the sense that he kissed me, but it was funny." I defended. Well, screw them and their lack of humor.
"That story ended up being a helluva lot worse than I thought it would be," Niall said. "I've got you beat."
"Bring it on Leprechaun." I teased.
"You wonderfully articulate bastard. Best day of my life was Liam and I's first date." Niall beamed.
"Must be some date." Zayn muttered.
"Oh, It was! He took me to that little room on the fourth floor of the museum, the one with the French theme? It was so beautiful. I ran through the miniature cathedral with bright lights. I remember the high-vaulted ceiling, the intricate stained glass, the gold-and-marble statuary, the delicately carved wood work...the Notre Dame monument was amazing. Organ music and the scent of burning candles filled the air. And I've never seen anything lovelier than the jewel colored lights shining through the rose windows."
Niall's eyes shown brightly as he relived the memory. I myself haven't been there but it sounds magical.
"Wow." Courtenay whispered and she couldn't have been more right. Wow.
"What, you guys act like I can't get deep. If you want I can talk about our first time?" Niall smirked. Groans were heard from every mouth, even Liam's.
"Baby, don't." Liam said in what I think was supposed to be a whisper.
"What? That would be telling. I can tell about his anaconda knot. Louis mate, I'll give you the details later." Niall winked and I feigned gagging.
"Okay, I guess it's my turn," said Courtenay said with her face contorted into one of disgust.
"My best day was the day that my mum bought me a car."
"Well, I'm hurt." Zayn scoffed.
"It was a Jaguar."
"Doesn't matter. Moving on."
Courtenay pouted and crossed her arms like a child.
"Your go Z." I reminded him.
"My best day would have been the day that I met Court, but the feelings doesn't seem to be mutual. So I'd say it was the day I moved from Bradford. That place was dreadful." Zayn shrugged before he turned to Liam. "What about you Liam, your best day?"
