I quickly put my locker combination in and opened it. I was in the middle of taking my math book out when the most amazing scent hit me, sending my wolf into a frenzy, it smelled of mint chocolate chip cookies. I quickly closed my locker but was slammed against it, feeling sparks, I turned and saw our future Alpha, Scott.
"Mate" I whispered
"No my mate has to be strong, able to carry Alpha pups, and beautiful as well to be a Luna"
"I'm not weak"
"Yea you are I, Alpha Scott Adams, rejects you Riley Castro as my mate"
I looked him in the eye to see if he was serious and he was. I hung my head down in shame and waited 'til he left to leave. I walked of school grounds and got in my car, leaving.
"Riley why-what's the matter?" My uncle Mike questioned
"Remember how you said I have to take special training ,like you did, to get where you are?"
My uncle Mike was a special pack warrior he worked for the wolf council as a rouge hunter, and when the Alpha King and Queen travel or are in danger he goes takes shifts with other pack warriors from other packs.
"Riley where is this going?"
"I wanna train, I wanna be like you"
"Riley the constant dangers, you won't be able to have a family until you retire think about it"
"I don't have to worry about having a family my mate rejected me. Uncle please"
"What about your friends?"
"They will be fine I'm just leaving for training and we come pack stay here for a while keep training then go on my first mission or protection thing"
"Riley it's still dangerous"
"Please"
"Riley"
"Please Uncle"
"Fine get your stuff we leave in an hour"
I squealed in delight and ran up the stairs packing all my exercise clothes and put them in a suit case. After I packed I sent a message to all of my friends told them not to worry that I was gonna be gone for one year and let me tell you that was the longest year in my life.
