4 Days after Ryan's death
I curled my hair and slid in to my black dress. It was raining today,like my parents where mourning the loss of Ryan as well. I walked down the stairs and went to where my uncle was waiting for me. I took one look and began to cry again. I climbed into the back of the car and waited for all of mine and Ryan's friends got in. The car pulled away and began driving us to the cemetery.We where the first ones there and quickly went under the white tent that was set up by Ryan's future grave. I watched as the pack began to fill in and finally the car that had Ryan's casket. Scott,Alpha Chris,My Uncle and me walked over and lifted the casket and walked it over to the burial spot. I held my head up high as the pack lined up on either side of us and put their heads down. We placed it on the lever,and walked back and sat at our assigned seats and the preacher begin.
"Ladies and Gentlemen,We are gathered here today to celebrate the life of Ryan Castro." I spaced out until I heard the Alpha speak.
"I knew Ryan since he was in his mothers womb, I knew he would be a great pack warrior,a great future Beta. His life was cut short,painfully,sadly. Ryan lived his life like his sister dangerous,but seriously. I have no clue how that works but they seem to make it work" He chuckled lightly. "He was amazing" I watched silently as he picked up a rose and placed it onto to the casket. He nodded his head towards me and I stood up and walked over. I bowed my head as he walked by. I turned and faced the rest of my pack.
"He was a great brother. He was my best friend. He was there when I cut my leg or when I got in trouble he would always bail me out. When kids use to pick on me because I lost my parents he would always protect me. Not to long ago I got into a fight with a friend and he was there trying to fix it. A week ago he finally learned how to surf. I love you brother tell mom and dad I said Hi" I placed a rose on his casket, and sat down again zoning out again until they finally lowered the casket.
I stood in the rain and looked down on Ryan's gravestone. Everyone had just left except for me. I had changed into black jeans and a black shirt,my hair was up in a ponytail. I changed right before everyone left. I was in hunting mode now. I felt a hand go around my waist and I felt sparks.
"Do you need a ride?"
"No ill walk"
"Let me give you a ride please"
"No"
"Fine...I'll just stay here then"
"This isn't the time" I snapped as tears streamed down my face. He pulled me in for a hug and I just stayed there. I can't pull away anymore. I just cant.
