THE FIRST TIME

CHAPTER 1

Sonic's Point of View

Hey there guys,Sonic on the phone! Everything is going well here in Mobius and the gang is alright. Knuckles is still in Angel Island protecting the Master Emerald from Rouge. And Amy is with Cream and Cheese baking,decorating,and doing girly stuff. Silver and Blaze is doing some sightseeing and Vector,Charmy,and Espio are practicing for their band. And Eggman is doing ... well something evil or just eating fat people food for his goal of obesity. Also,Tails is doing some engineering on the X Tornado.What's that you say? How am I? Well, the truth is... I found a new friend! His name is SHADOW. He is a real jerk sometimes and say really harsh things in a expressionless face,but he's really nice and kind in the inside. One day he'll be badmouthing me and the other he gives me a chillydog,and for FREE! And so this and that happened and now we're going on a picnic.

Shadow's Point of View

I ,the ultimate life form,Shadow the hedgehog has gotten a friend named Sonic. He is an interesting guy who is too kind,passionate,loyal,and really optimistic. But he's always taking high risks,and not to forget that he always put others first,but it's not good for him to do that;what will he do if he gets killed? Wait,what am I thinking about? Who cares if he dies? I'll just have to forget about this . Besides I have to get to the train station's platform for our picnic. I bet he's already there. I should hurry or he'll be barking on how much of a turtle I am.

Sonic's Point of View:
At the platform

WHAT ON MOBIUS IS THAT SLOW SNAIL IS DOING!!!??? HE'S TAKING CENTURIES! He should have a very good reason or a perfect excuse for this slowness!

A FEW SECONDS LATER...(like literally about ten seconds maybe)

Nnnooww he chooses to come! Wait till I outta...!

"Hello,faker. Pleasant weather isn't it? Don't you just wish that everyday can be like this; huh, faker?"
He said in a refreshing face that says 'Hi, I'm going to have fun teasing this little guy.'

"Don't you 'Hello,faker' me! Do you know how many centuries it took you just to get here? Also don't call me FAKER! You know I hate it when you call me that!"
Fiercely saying that with anger.

"My apologies, fake... I mean Sonic. I have forgotten about that."
Which sounds really cheesy and fake like a phony baloney in my ears.

He says that but I know he's lying; just look at his face! He's smirking and chuckling!

"Yeah yeah,whatever. Let's just get going,before the train will depart."
I replied with a face that looked annoyed and pissed

"Yes,let's go before you'll get angry at me for missing the train."

"Hey! Don't make it sound like I have anger issues like Knuckles and Amy!"
I said with a pouting face.

A FEW MINUTES LATER...

While we were in the train,that was empty as a seashell,we were looking for something to talk about to make a conversation; so we can get out of the weird,silent,and awkward atmosphere. So I decided to talk first.

"You know,Shads this is the first time I saw a train so empty! Must be a slow day,huh?"
Trying my best to make a perfect smile so the atmosphere won't get worse.

"...That is true...I wonder why it's so empty? This is also my first time seeing a train so filled with nothing. Well,it's not that bad with all the peace and quiet,though."
Him saying with a face of curiosity,boredom,and whateverness mixed together.

"So what's in the picnic basket? Can you tell me,Shadster?"
I asked him. Oh,and if you're wondering why Shadow has the picnic basket; it's because he's good at cooking! He's like a five star chef,but better!

"It's a secret. You'll know when we get there and eat."
He said smiling.

"Ugh,no fair! You get to know but I don't? Then can you at least tell me if there's chilidogs or not?"
I plead to him because his chilidogs are like no other! His chilidogs are like from Heaven!

"Who knows? Guess you'll just have to wait until we get there."

"What!? No fair,you meanie!"
Saying that with a moaning tone of voice.

"Well too bad Sonic,life's not fair."

Shadow's Point of View

After Sonic asked questions about the picnic basket we arrived at our destination. The place that we picked is one of the most beautiful places in Mobius,called Staphooné. And I know that Sonic's never been here before; it was hard for me to find it. But it is nice to go somewhere that you never been with a person who loves to go to places filled with fantastic beauty. I really am enjoying myself today,it's fun to see Sonic's broad smile on his silly face. It soothes my heart and soul; I wonder why I have this feeling that's so...warming inside. Must be my imagination...or maybe...

"Shadow,I'm hungry~~! Why are you dozing off? Whattcha thinkin' about?"

"Well I'm sorry,Mr.Hungry; but I can't answer millions of questions at once."

"Ha! But I only asked two questions. And my name is not 'hungry' it's Sonic! Sonic the hedgehog; S·O·N·I·C!"

"Okay okay,so shall we eat?"

"Heck yeah!"
He said it with such excitement. It makes me somewhat nervous...maybe the weather is changing me some how. No...that just sounds stupid.

"Ooh,theres chilidogs! Shadow you're the best! At being a friend and cooking!"

*BADUMP*
What was that 'badump' sound in my heart? This is getting weird...I might be sick.

"Hey,Shadow...I just want to say thanks for taking me here. Hahaha!"
With such a shy smile...your making me blush too,you blue hedgehog!

"You know Shadow,this is the first time I ever came to a place this pretty!"

"Then I'm glad we came."

"The food is pretty good too!"

"Then maybe we should do this another time."

"...yeah,we should... Oh, but don't forget to bring chilidogs!"

"What's with you and chilidogs,Sonic? You've been talking about them a lot."

"I just love 'em,that's all!"

"I think you call that obsessed."

"So what if I'm obsessed? I bet you have something that your obsess to."

If I did have something that I'm truly obsessed with,I wonder what it is...?
