CHAPTER 5

Shadow's Point of View

When I heard Sonic's loud shout, my face was punched to the ground with great force and pain; but I tried my best to not make an expression of agony. Then, when I look up to see if Sonic was alright, he almost got captured by Scrouge; so I pulled out my gun in a hurry without thinking or with any hesitation. And after that, I saw some blood flew onto Sonic's surprised face, and the feeling of pulling the trigger still remain in my hands.

Sonic: "What... the fuck. YOU...FUCKING...SHOT HIM! Why on Earth did you do that, you stupid little shit!? What're you gonna do if he's gonna kick the bucket!? Oh my fucking God, WE'RE GOING TO JAIL!!!"

Shadow: "Yes, I did shoot him; too bad it's not a lung shot, though. And I shot him in order to protect you; to tell the truth I wish I can get a 'thank you'. Also, he will not die because it looks like I didn't hit any of the internal organs; although we should put pressure on his wound so he wouldn't die from blood loss. We should take him to the hospital too, that is if we don't want him to die. And we won't go to jail if we don't get caught; all we have to do is erase his memory by hitting him with a metal bat, create a perfect alibi, and exstinguish all fingerprints,facts,detail,etc. But if we do nothing, then yes; we will go to jail. Oh, and I'm not the stupid little shit, you are."

Sonic: "How can you be so calm at a time like this!? And how do you know all this stuff... like... what to do when this fucking messed up shit happens in your life!? You know what I'm trying to say, right?"

Shadow: "The calmer you are the easier it's done. And for the second question all I can say is it's from experience and knowledge."

Sonic: "....uh-huh... okay. Last question, if Scrouge isn't dead why is he knocked out?"

Shadow: "Because of the shock that he got shot, he lost his conciousness."

Sonic: "Huh... you are really smart aren't you? I'm surprised!"

Shadow: "I'm surprised that you just noticed, Faker."

Sonic: "Whatever, let's just take this dead-looking dickhead to the hospital."

Shadow: "Yes, my lord."

Sonic: "Ugh... don't say that, it just sound like your dumb."

He sounded a little irritated from his voice. I wounder why? Is it because I finished of his fight? But I did that in order to keep him safe. I will never just sit there and watch him get hurt; even if he himself told me not to do so. Ugh, but for some reason I think I'm turning into a softy, and that's no good.

Sonic's Point of View

To tell the truth I didn't think that the fight will end this fast and this easy in this kind of way. So it kind of feels akward, you know? And I kinda lied to Shadow about how it sounds dumb saying 'Yes, my lord' it actually makes me wanna scream 'SEBASTIAN!' (Kuroshitsuji A.K.A Black Butler) but never mind that for right now I'm pissed at him for using a gun in front of my face and shooting a person...IN FRONT OF MY FACE!!!!! I'm thinking of all of the 'what if this happened?'s in my head and it's making me crazy!!! I really appreciate the fact that he wanted to protected me and all, but I don't think someone has to die. Because someone will get sad, drowning in a deep sea called mechalony; and I know how painful it is. Well, at least he didn't die and that's a good thing; if he died Fionna would definatlly kill us for revenge...
