CHAPTER 6

Shadow's Point of View

After a week past since Scourge got sent to the hospital Sonic and I haven't talked. But that's because I am trying to avoid him so I don't get the feeling of wanting him to be mine. Appearently, this feeling is called an "affection" ; I asked Rouge and that was the answer. Although, she didn't really explain to me specificlly of what it is; all she said was, "Why don't you find out for yourself? You're smart, right?" If I was very smart I would know how to control this 'affection'. Oh but, the only thing that's on my mind is Sonic. I already miss his face when he comes to see me; he smiles while he blushes in a very cute way,and he is just bright as the sun's ray of light. And the way he pouts when you tease him..., it's just so adorable, I can't resist his absolutly adorably cute cuteness! It should be illegal to be that cute on the way he acts, talk, smiles, walk, eat, sleep, and getting angry! But none of these feeling shall never be noticed to him because then we will not be friends, and he will not want to be with me. If only Sonic will accept my affection then we will both be happy; I will make breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner, and dessert everyday; also I'll work as much as I can so we can live comfortably together in the same roof. And I'll buy a king sized bed for the two of us so we can have...

Amy Rose: "Oh, hello Shadow. I haven't seen you in a while. What are you doing around here, shopping?"

Why does people always interrupt me when I talk to myself in my head?

Shadow: "And why do you want to know what I'm doing in my life? All I'm doing is some walking. Now are you happy that you got an answer from a stupid question?"

Amy Rose:"What, I was just curious! Jeez, I'm so sorry I upset you with a stupid question Mr. 'I'm always irritated and want to kill, destroy,and elimanate everything in the world'!"

Shadow: "Okay you know what... uuh..umm....uugggh...pink..one, I forgot your name and I could care less about it, I dislike you...very much and I could just go back home, and have my precious time to improve my skills or talent... but ... I have a question to ask you."

Amy Rose:"Wow, this is new. Shadow asking me a question? It must be a very important question because I know you don't like me. But I'll still answer the question honestly. So, come on tell me."

Shadow: "What is 'affection'?

Amy Rose: "Really? And for a long time I thought you were smart. Affection basically means love. Wait a minute, why did you ask me about affection?"

Shadow: "N-no reason. I was just curious."

Amy Rose: "You have someone you like don't you? But you never fell in love with anyone before so you're confused of the feelings you get, right? And then now you're feeling somewhat nervous and desperate so you ask for some advice. Don't try to hide the fact you have a crush on somebody with your lies, because I already know."

Shadow: "Another reason why I don't like talking to you. Now if you will excuse..."

Amy Rose: "Oh no you don't! We're going to talk about your crush. Tell me who is she? Is she Rouge? Why don't we go to my house and have some tea; because standing out here will be tiring. Come on let's go!"

Shadow: "And now I found another reason why I hate talking to you. Fine, but you better make this quick! I have more important stuff to do; unlike you."

Amy Rose: "Cross my dart hope to cry stick a cupcake in my pie."

Shadow: "That's not the way you say that phrase, you know."
