CHAPTER 2

Shadow's Point of View

It's becoming noon,the setting sun glowing on Sonic covers him in a crimson color. It makes him look more lovely and gorgeously beautiful...what am I thinking about...? I sound like a weird and creepy homosexual guy. I think I'll have to talk to Sonic before my brain will be filled with these thoughts; besides Sonic's dozing off in his own imaginary world right now. I should say something before he gets too cozy and goes to sleep. But what should I talk about...

Then suddenly Tails flew right in without any sign of warning.

Tails: "Hey ya guys! Whattcha doin' all the way up here?"

Sonic: "Hey Tails! Shadow and I were just havin' a picnic! But whattcha doin here,Tails? Don't tell me you were havin' a picnic all by yourself!?"
(Notice the sarcasm)

Tails: "No,silly! I was working on my new invention! But it was supposed to be a surprising secret for everybody. Well,at least you didn't see it yet so it can be still surprising; just don't tell anybody,okay?"

Sonic: "I'll cross my heart until I die, if I lie; I'll poke a needle in my eye. So you don't have to worry because I just made a promise to ya! And you know I keep my promises!"

Tails: "Okay,thanks Sonic!"

Sonic: "Hey Tails,you wanna stay to join in the picnic?"

Shadow: "Why should we let a pesky brat in our picnic?"
I don't understand what Sonic is trying to do. This is OUR picnic,not a gathering picnic. We were suppose to have fun with just the two of us... unless if he doesn't want to be with... me...

Sonic: "Shadow don't say that...! You know what they say 'the more the merrier'!"

'The more the merrier' my ass! I'm not feeling merry at all! I'm so fucking pissed; I feel like using that yellow pep-squeak as my punching bag! Ugh... I don't even know why I'm so furious as hell. That two-tailed squirt didn't do anything at all,and I'm thinking of beating him half-dead. I need to calm down a little while.

Tails: "Thanks for the offer,Sonic. But I really have to finish this invention! I just can't put my mind off of it! Maybe another day I'll hang out with you guys. Bye~!"

Sonic: "Bye Tails~!

Shadow: "Later..."

Sonic: "Now then...,Shadow explain yourself!"
Angrily he said, like a lecturer getting snappy.

Shadow: "What are you talking about? I have no idea on what you're trying to say."

Sonic: "Now you know that's not true. You called Tails a 'pesky brat' and that's rude! So I would like you to apologize to him. I'm not saying right now,but later on today; got that?"

Shadow: "Yes, I understand; grandmother~."
Why do I have to apologize to him when HE barged into our picnic? The time we get to spend alone together. Yet,I have to say sorry for nothing? Besides he's the rude one here! He intruded my thinking!

Sonic: "But Shadow... my question is,why didn't you want Tails to join our picnic?"

Shadow: "I don't know... I just didn't want him with us;that's all."

Sonic: "Pfft~! That's weird! You're funny and weird,Shadow! Hahahahahaha!

Shadow: "Well I'm sorry I'm weird!"
