Heat, terror, and blood reached its max on the cold morning of the war, exhaustion fueled the cats as their hearts pumped faster with every slash. The ambush had occured, and the Riverclan cats were startled, just as wanted.
Squirrelstar used his hind legs to lift himself into the air, twisting while he could and then landing on Bristlestars back.
He'd cling to the leaders coat, seeping his claws in deeper with every movement that he made. Unable to remain the balance he'd tumble, leaving Bristlestars back blood stained.
"It wasnt my clan Squirrelstar, please I ask of you, beilive me dear friend." Horror flashed in Bristlestars gaze as he'd been waiting for a break to say this important message.
"Im sorry Bristlestar, there is just no other explanation." He'd shake his head in response, using his remaining strengh to pounce harshly onto his opponent.
Squirrelstar pinned the leader, allowing his sharp claws to sink into his shoulders, receiving a loud yowl from bristlestar.
He faught, his energy running low as his ears flattened onto his head. "please squirrelstar!" He heaved and begged, now just a bloody mop.
a single life would be taken from the truthful leader, this was not deserved.
-evil cats point of view
Snake restless gaze was factuated with the fighting and struggling cats. He'd be watching from a close distance, hiding in a cluster of bushes.
two fighting cats had caught his glore in their grasp, he watched in amusement as they tore eachother apart.
The tan and white she-cat who he'd been watching had seemed to given up, letting herself go. It had seemed easier this way, no more struggling, just peace and rest.
As the larger tom who was ontop of her craved and reached for a blow to the neck, Snake arose from his hiding spot.
His massive frame launched at the tom, and he'd catch a glimpse of horror before the cat was deceaced.
He'd use his quick paws to drag the she to the place he was hiding previously, careful not to be seen by the clan cats.
Her eyes opened in shock, surprised she could still smell and feel the earth on her paws.
Snake sat, staring blankly at the she-cat who was just recovering from a traumatizing event. He'd wait for her to just claw him away, but instead she'd breath comfortably.
Her soft gaze was set on Snakes, she'd blink slowly at him before saying something.
"Thank you." she breathed out, her chest beginning to lower.
In a moment of silence as his gaze periced hers he responded, "your welcome."
The she-cat would lift herself slowly into a sitting pose, still sort of dazed.
"Who are you, and why are you here?" The she-cat began, careful with her words as they curiously dripped from her.
Snake would become protective of himself as a natural habit, "does it matter? I saved you." He'd tilt his head.
"Your right, Im sorry I shouldnt be so invading." She'd mew, now in a stable position.
Her fur would slightly bristle and blow against snakes, as the two cats burned into eachothers coats. So close yet so far from warmth.
"Your okay now?" He'd respond, shifting a little to not be so close to the she-cat, even if the brambles could only cover so much.
"Im okay, and I appreciate the help you've provided me." She stood, finding her way out of the bushes before leaning back in.
"Thank you again...what was it?" She'd make it clear she was interested in a name of some sort, and he'd happily grant it.
"its Snake." He filled in her blank wonders, a sense of comfort washing over his emotionless core.
"Well thank you, Snake." she'd peer back outside, turning her back to the larger tom who had seemingly saved her life. So i guess that was it, maybe.
