As Grim slept peacefully next to Talon, he'd try his best to be silent when he made his way out of the clearing.
A rush of emotions leaped through Talons mind, this felt so dreamy to the young tom. The she-cat wasnt aloud to do this, and neither was he, which made it all worth while.
He'd slow his impatient pace as he neared the spot were he'd left Kestralpaw, it seemed he had made it there right as she was beginning to arrive.
The two cats met in the middle, the harsh wind russling their pelts as they neared eachother, the moon glossed over the cats, creating light.
"So you came?" Kestral paw began the conversation, her tone just as soft and comforting as Talon remembered.
"Why wouldnt I?" Talon smirked, the two cats sitting next to eachother under the sheild of a large tree.
The tension lowered as they began talking, Kestrel paw sharing first, "There isnt much to do In Windclan, I just get bossed around. I am in training to become a warrior."
Talon glared at the she-cat interested in what she had to offer, "Is your clan doing okay? You know, after the war." As good as he felt meeting up with Kestral, he could not come back without any knowledge of Her Clan, as he was aiming to destroy it.
"The war, how did you find out about that?" Kestral would look confused, her warm glare becoming puzzled.
Talon wouldnt like this sudden confrontation that the she-rat rose, "Things just go around I guess.." He'd settle with a calm reponse.
Kestral blinked slowly, shifting slightly before responding, "We are okay, but the Riverclan leader is short on lives. Im not exactly sure how many are left, but its few. And you didnt hear this from me but, I dont think Riverclan is responsible for the dead prey." She'd lower her tone, even though no cat could hear them.
"Who do you think it was then?" Talon pretended an interested gaze, leaning in.
"I think somehow it was Shadowclan, they exiled a few cats awhile back and no cat has seen them around the territory sense. I think they might be back for revenge." She'd peer around, suddenly feeling safe by the tom.Talon would nod in agreement to her thoughts, "How were they exiled, what did they do?" He'd raise a brow, eager to hear what Kestral had to say.
"Im not completely sure, but personally I think.." She'd pause, quickly lifting her nose and sniffing the air cautiously.
"Talon, we have to get out of here, now!" She'd hurriedly stand, pushing away Talon with her muzzle, the tom would comply not responding as the two cats darted through the brush.
It would become clear that a larger creature was chasing after them, Talon would nod his head in the direction of the hidden clearing his comrades were, gesturing that they go that way.
Kestral paw followed his tail as they weaved through the trees, their hearts pumping faster as the footsteps that followed them came closer.
Kestralpaw would suddenly give way to a yowl, as her toe had gotten caught on a thorn bush. Talon quickly rushed to the she-cat, catching a glimse of the massive fox that was coming for their blood.
"Kestral, I think im going to fight it." Talon would peer up at the she, her gaze becoming widened.
"youll die Talon!" She'd shout, desperately trying to escape the grasp of the bush.
Talon wouldnt give her a response as he'd dart back from were they had just came from, straight into the glore of the horriying Fox.
"This way! follow me!" he lash his tail at the fox, coming to a hault and sliding around. He'd run as fast as his legs could carry him, the fox only a few lengths away from his body.
Talon would think deeply, avoiding Kestral paw on his dash to the clearing. The fox would eagerly follow Talon, as he came to a stopping point, preparing his yowl.
"Help me!" He'd yell to the sleeping cats that rested infront of him, his frame would jump backwards as the fox reached him at once.
Talon would jump, avoiding the foxes visious teeth that were itching to seep into his coat.
Snake, Molly, and Grim would awake from their slumber, dashing to aid Talon who was obviously no match for this massive creature.
The fox would hunch down as the cats approached in a agressive manner, yelping before running off to where he came from.
Molly would let out a heavy breath, allowing her claws to retrieve. "What was that about Talon! You about had us all killed!" She'd scold the young tom, walking over to him.
"Im sorry, I didnt know I was going to run into it." Talon began, his mind trailing off to kestralpaw who he had hoped gotten away in time.
Snake would look the most dissapointed, as he'd agressivly pin Talon, putting all his pressure onto the small cat. "what were you thinking you flee brain!"
His sharp teeth would bare in the face of Talon, who was terrified of Snake. "I, I said I was sorry!" He'd yelp, pleading for the massive Tom to give him a break.
"Let him go snake.." Molly would put in, her restless gaze seeping into Snakes as he'd let Talon free from his harsh grasp.
Snake would breath heavily spitting on the ground, "I expect a full explanation on why you were out at sunhigh, for now get some rest."
Talon wouldnt say anything to the leader as he'd walk away feeling defeated. "You okay?" Grim would lower his gaze to match Talons, the two toms finding their way back to their sleeping spot.
"Does it look like it? I dont belong here Grim, I just mess everything up." Talon would plop down, yawning before placing his head into his paws.
