Author's note: Haze x Selena, when they were really young and Selena hadn't been corrupted yet. It's called LifeCycle because Selena and Haze are the goddesses of life and death respectively. Also before Fallen canonly came out as non-binary, so they're referred to as 'she/her'.
Haze curled against her girlfriend's side, watching their... 'children' play in the tall grass. Even after the whole soul mess with the two, they'd come out perfectly fine, though the eldest daughter had a severely damaged soul. It hadn't affected her yet, but Haze was still worried about it, the way any sane mom would be.
Selena nuzzled into Haze's hair, careful not to get her horn stuck in her girlfriend's hair. "They're growing fast."
Haze smiled, cuddling Selena back. "And learning even faster."
"They'll be ready for their own kingdoms soon. Why not marry them off already?"
"They're too young for marriage," Haze countered. "They've barely met any boys."
Fallen appeared at her mothers' side, floating down to the ground. Their golden wings shone in the late daylight, as she watched her little sister paw at a hole.
"Maman?" she asked, glancing up at their mothers. "Will Kitty ever be as big as me?"
"She might," answered Selena. "Not all Tacs grow at the same rate, or to the same size. She might be smaller than others when she grows up."
"Oh," Fallen said.
Haze laughed, glancing up at Selena. "Love you, baby."
Selena bent and planted a kiss on the other's head. "I love you too, little princess."

i do and i made that kinda canon because when fallen and kit were young, they didn't have the same features they do have four thousand years later
kit's tail wasn't on fire and fallen's wings were gold instead of that pale green and purple i draw them as now
