Taeyong heard the door at his hospital room opened
"Did you help me bring it Johnny?" he asked and looked at the direction of the door.
But what he saw shocked him and his eyes widened.
He never expected Kim Doyoung to come to see him at where he is confined.
"Stupid!" Doyoung yelled
"What did you come for?"
"Why didn't you tell me?"
"Because it had nothing to do with you" said Taeyong and looked away
Doyoung let out the tears he had been preventing to come out. But seeing Taeyong's state made his heart hurt a lot. He obviously became thinner and his skin is so pale.
There's also one thing he noticed and that made him cry even harder
"You're still wearing that ring"
Taeyong quickly hid his hand with the ring on the blanket.
"Stop hiding it. You're obviously wearing that ring. Stop acting tough!"
"I already knew you'd cry like that so I didn't want to tell you" said Taeyong controlling himself and trying not to cry.
He hates seeing Doyoung crying because if he's sad or hurt it hurts him too.
"Go back quickly. Go back to your mature boyfriend's side."
Of course, Taeyong knew about Taeil, he had watched Doyoung whenever he's well and had time before making sure he's okay and when he saw how he is with Taeil it made him worry less even though that hurted him so much.
"That way, I could go without a worry"
Doyoung shook his head as a disagreement.
Taeyong sat on his bed.
"Doyoung, I always tried to avoid you, always made you suffer. I'm sorry"
Doyoung bit his lower lip and sniffed and shook his head.
"Thanks for coming to see me" said Taeyong and smiled
"Promise me you'll be happy" he added
"It's not possible" said Doyoung , his voice hoarse because of too much crying
"I can't ever be happy without you Taeyong. I want you to give me happiness"
Taeyong tried to smile " I had only a few months left to live Doyoungie"
"I've always.... always loved you Taeyong"
"Doyoung"
Doyoung walked closer to Taeyong and cupped his cheeks with both of his hands and gave a sweet long peck to his lips.
Taeyong although surprised, closed his eyes to feel Doyoung's lips into his. Which he missed for a long time.
Doyoung pulled away and hugged Taeyong tightly. Crying on his shoulders.
Taeyong can't help but to hug back.
Maybe he can pretend but his heart can't. He knows his longing for him.
Because like Doyoung, he also didn't stop loving him, not even once and he'd never will.
