After the men parted ways, Harry was the first to call. 'I just want to see you.' He had said. Harry sat cross-legged at the edge of the lake, and Louis went to sit beside him silently after which Harry immediately put is head on Louis shoulder. It was quite warm outside, even though it was autumn. They both sat there admiring the forest in their t-shirts, while it was probably freezing in the rest of England. 'Let's swim.' Harry said, and before Louis could speak Harry's shoes were off and his shirt was clinging to the shore, almost falling into the lake. 'You're crazy' Louis muttered under his breath. Harry looked at Louis with a big grin on his face and then jumped into the lake, splashing water all over Louis. Louis looked at him, and his breath hitched. Harry had apparently been working out, and now his abs were visible. Harry noticed Louis stare and was about to make a comment when Louis shivered and also stood up, figuring he might as well go for a swim too - he's already wet anyway.

When Louis jumped in, he almost landed on Harry which caused a loud gasp to be heard. 'How dare you try and kill me!' Harry said with an aristocratic accent, 'I, Harry Edward of the Styles am not be killed!' Harry had a stupid grin on his face and Louis swam to him, pulling him underwater. The water was very clear, not that there was a reason for it - it was just a random lake in the middle of the forest. But when you're underwater, you can practically see each other. Harry soon came back to surface, spitting some water out. He had a mad look on his face and Louis started laughing. 'You're gonna pay for that.' Harry tried to do the same to Louis, but Louis grabbed his waist and pulled Harry with him. This time, they looked at each other and it was expierence one would describe as magical. Harry's beautiful brown locks were floating around him like he was some kind of wizard using a powerful spell. And Louis' eyes, they looked beautiful underneath the water. They looked like they could lit up the whole lake - they didn't - but Harry did feel like those sky blue eyes pierced his soul in the few seconds they were underwater. 'That's unfair!' Harry shouted once he was able to breathe again. 'It is not.' Louis said, grinning. Both of them seemed to ignore the moment that had just happened since it would definitely make things awkward - since they basically stared at each other for a few seconds. Louis poked Harry in his side and Harry started giggling adorably. Louis watched him admirably and when Harry noticed they stared in each other's eyes. 'Do you maybe, I mean only if you're comfortable, want to do this more often? Like, hang out?' A genuine smile appeared on Louis' face as Harry said that. 'Yes, I'd love to.' And now it was Harry's turn to smile, but his smile quickly changed into a sly grin as he said 'Now you're gonna get your payback.'

'All those leaves will fall from the trees soon.' Harry said, pointing to the trees as he and Louis laid next together on all the leaves that already fell from the trees. After messing around in the water for a while they had a lot less energy so they decided to just lay there, on a thick bed of leaves. 'Then the trees won't have their orange coat, they'll get cold.' Louis chuckled at Harry's almost childish sounding statement. 'And above all, they'll be colourless and sad.' Louis turned his head to Harry. 'They may look sad, but are they really? They're probably happy because they can't wait for spring to come, so that they may grow a whole new green coat. They're excited.' Louis said. 'You think so?' Harry said when he turned his head to Louis. He looked genuinely upset by the thought of the trees being sad. Louis smiled at him. 'Yeah, I think so.' Harry hummed in response. 'I'm excited to just drive around and see all the flowers, once spring finally arrives.' Harry says, suddenly jumping to a different subject. Louis thought about it, but couldn't really agree with Harry. He had never done that, just driving around. Harry noticed Louis' silence and went to sit up, suddenly excited. 'Well let's drive around together!' At first, Louis was confused as to how Harry could so accurately guess his thoughts, but then just let it go and agreed with Harry's idea. 'Did you know flowers have their own language?' Harry said once Louis had agreed. 'No, but how can plants have a language?' Louis asked Harry, mostly curious because Harry was very excited about it, although be was probably just happy to talk to a friend. 'It's not that the flowers talk to each other, but that every plant symbolizes something. For example, a red rose symbolizes love.' Louis smiled at Harry. 'That's beautiful.' He said, thinking about the thousands of flowers and all the possible meanings they might have. 'Yeah,' Harry said, 'It really is.'

The two met up after this a few times, just talking about all kinds of stuff. Like how their lives had changed, what to eat on Christmas eve or if the birds talk to each other through their chirping. It was amazing, how the two became good friends again in just a few weeks. They were a lot happier than before, and people noticed it too. Louis' manager, Eliza, made a comment about how he had been a lot happier since be bumped into Harry - she probably suspected something was up.

'Hey Lou!' Harry practically screamed when he saw Louis sitting by the lake. Harry had decided to tell Louis he was bisexual, as it wasn't something everyone knew. In fact, his management in One Direction had told him to keep it a secret, and he hadn't really talked to anyone about it since then. But since his old crush may have returned, he might as well tell Louis to make sure that if Louis also felt something like that, he knew he had a shot with Harry. Harry plopped down beside Louis, they both wore a thick coat as it was now December and it had started to freeze a little. 'I need to tell you something.' Harry said. He wasn't very nervous, as he felt like he got to know Louis very well in these few weeks - at least good enough to know he won't judge Harry. Louis looked up when Harry said that. 'I'm bi.' Harry blurted out. 'Okay.' Louis said, although you could hear he was nervous. Harry was confused, as he noticed it was not because of what Harry had said, but what it made Louis think of. Harry look Louis' hand in his own, trying to comfort him. 'You okay? He asked. 'I...' Louis was in a battle with himself, wondering if he should admit it or not. 'I think I'm gay...' He said after a while, and Harry took a moment to realise what Louis had just said. He was gay, and he had still been dating Eleanor for how who knows how many years. He had to hide it for years and Harry felt guilty he hadn't asked Louis about his sexuality before. Harry pulled the latter in a side-hug, soothingly rubbing circles on Louis' back while they just stared at the water in front of the two.
