'You don't have a Christmas tree.' Louis stated when they were seated on Harry's couch a few hours later. 'So?' Harry asked. 'Well, we need to get you one!' Harry furrowed his eyebrows at that. 'It's Christmas in a few days, I doubt there are still good Christmas trees available.' Harry said, and Louis shook his head in disagreement. 'I don't care, we will get you one! Do you have decorations?' Louis asked, and Harry nodded. 'Then let's go!' Louis seemed careless, not even thinking about what would happen if someone saw them. Harry was happy that Louis wasn't so afraid anymore; the blue-eyed lad deserved to be happy.  The mall wasn't very far away, but they still took the car as they weren't planning on carrying the tree all the way to Harry's apartment. When they arrived at the mall, the two were searching for a parking spot for a while as there were people everywhere, buying last-minute Christmas gifts. When they finally found one, they walked straight to all the left-over Christmas trees with their fingers intertwined. 'What about that one?' Louis asked while looking at Harry, pointing at a tree in the back. It was Harry's house, so he got to decide. 'That one is perfect.' Harry said. Once the two had their tree, they were stopped by a girl who had an amazed look on her face as she watched the two. 'Are you two together?' Harry opened his mouth, but he didn't say anything and instead looked at Louis and waited for him to answer. 'I don't know.' Louis said honestly. The girl just stared at the two with a knowing look, and they awkwardly picked up their tree and went to pay; Louis paid.

'It's already evening and you can cook so... What if I set up the tree and you cook dinner?' Harry nodded at Louis' proposal, but then stopped halfway to the kitchen and asked 'Chicken with mozzarella and parma ham?' Louis laughed at that. 'Yeah!' He said to Harry, and went to look for the box with Christmas decorations. The box itself was pretty big and was filled with decorations. It was mostly blue, so Louis decided to go with blue for the whole tree. He was silently decorating the tree until he found a particularly interesting object and let out a laugh. In Louis' hands laid a peak for on top of the tree, a picture of Jesus Harry suck on it with adhesive tape. Louis had seen the picture once on Twitter and wondered how it got in here. Nonetheless, Louis put Jesus Harry on top of the tree. 'Dinner's ready!' Harry called when he walked out of the kitchen with two plates of food. Louis had just finished decorating, and Harry looked at the tree. 'It looks wonderful.' Harry said. 'And I see you've found the other Harry?' He added with a laugh, after which Louis chuckled and vaguely muttered a yes. They both went to sit down at the table and tried the chicken. 'I've got to say, this tastes way better than when I made it.' Louis said once he swallowed. 'You're a great cook, Haz.' Harry blushed a bit at the compliment but didn't further elaborate on it. Instead, Harry decided to ask about Louis' live show from a few weeks back, as they hadn't talked in two weeks. 'I heard some rumours you were wearing eyeliner during your live show.' He said with a big smirk, and Louis almost chocked on his food. 'And I heard you made some interesting clothing choices.' Louis shot back with a challenging look on his face. 'I heard people want us to wear glitter make up.' Harry said in return. Louis laughed a bit. 'Really?' Harry nodded. 'Then let's do it.' Harry's eyes widened at Louis' words. 'Do you mean that?' Harry said, surprised by what Louis had said. A few weeks ago, Louis would never have done such a thing. Harry smiled broadly, and they promised they were going to wear glitter the next opportunity they got - whether it was an interview or show. 'But what did you think of C3?' Louis asked, and Harry looked at him a bit confused. 'C3?' He asked. 'Copy Of A Copy Of A Copy.' Louis responded, and it suddenly made sense to Harry. 'It was... Beautiful. I think it felt more like your music than any of your other songs.' Harry explained, his mouth full of food. Louis smiled because of Harry's answer; that song did feel more like himself.

'Do you wanna watch a movie?' Louis asked and Harry's eyes perked up. 'Like, a cheezy Christmas movie?' Louis chuckled at Harry's question and shrugged. 'Why not.' He said, and Harry's eyes lit up - apparently, Harry Styles loved Christmas movies. 'Can we cuddle on the couch with a bunch of unhealthy snacks like every couple does?' Louis didn't answer his question and instead walked to the kitchen to get the snacks. They both plopped down on the couch, and Harry immediately cuddled into Louis' side. Louis selected a movie - not really watching which one as they both didn't care - and put his arms around Harry. 'I think I love you.' Louis said halfway through the movie. 'I think I love you too.' Harry said, and went to lay even closer to Louis.
