PCH means Pacific Coast Highway. It's a very long road along almost the entire coast of California. (Look it up!)

Harry was currently sitting in an uncomfortable chair, ready to interview to promote his new single Golden - and get some publicity because there were plans to make a videoclip for Treat People With Kindness.  'You ready?' The interviewer asked. 'Yeah' The interviewer, a friendly-looking man, started his introduction and then turned to Harry. 'Before we talk about you, I want to address the rumours I heard. You and Louis Tomlinson are both in Londen right now, are you meeting up?' The interviewer wasn't rude or anything, but Harry still got a bit irritated because a lot of people still asked about him and Louis. Harry didn't show it though, and answered with a fake but friendly-looking smile. 'We won't meet up, no. We haven't spoken in a long time and I don't think we will.' Harry chose his words carefully, but couldn't help but answer truthfully when the interviewer proceeded to ask 'But you would like to see him again, right?' Harry shrugged, and there was a slight pause before Harry answered. 'It would be nice to finally talk to Louis again, yeah.' The man looked at his notebook and then said 'So, what is your inspiration for Golden?' Harry thought about it for a second. 'Well, I think it's a source of joy for me. I feel like it is the perfect PCH song.' The interviewer looked at him, his eyes almost screaming you didn't answer my question. 'But who is it about?' Harry chuckled. Of course he was going to ask this question. 'It doesn't really matter who it is about. The song is about a person that makes you happy, even when you're feeling low. The person brought me joy for a long time and I feel like he- that they felt the same about me, not necessarily in a romantic way though.' The interviewer raised his eyebrows. 'So the person is a man?' Shit 'Well, as I said; It doesn't matter who it is.' Harry answered in hope of hinting to the interviewer that he should drop the subject, but the interviewer pushed a bit further. 'But it is a guy.' Harry got a bit uncomfortable and let out an awkward laugh while looking at his manager with pleading eyes. He was standing in the back of the room, and didn't seem to notice the message Harry was trying to transfer. 'It shouldn't matter, really.' Luckily, the man stopped with his questions about the person - Louis - and proceeded to talk about the dress Harry wore a few weeks ago, since Harry hadn't done a recorded interview about it yet. These people probably thought they could get views or something by asking Harry about it - even though it was a few weeks ago when he was on the cover and the publicity around it had died down a little.

'How did the interview go?' Louis asked Harry once they were both seated on the worn-out wooden bench they had found at the back of the lake. Apparently, there used to be a walking route that went along the lake, which caused a bench to be placed. 'About as well as you'd expect.' Harry took a good look at Louis. He was wearing a burberry blouse with a red sweater on top of it. It was quite warm compared to the last week, so Louis wasn't wearing a coat - though he did have one tucked under his arm in case the wind picked up and it became cold. He wore simple jeans and his standard white sneakers. Louis' hair had grown a lot and now came to his neck - which looked, dare he say it, cute. Harry wasn't sure, but it looked like he was wearing eyeliner too and he couldn't help but make a comment. 'You look good.' Harry said silently, almost a whisper. A light blush spread across Louis' cheeks at the compliment, and Harry was proud that he managed to make Louis blush. 'Thanks' Louis muttered, and the two of them looked at the lake. They used to meet up at the other side, so it was unusual looking at it from this side. 'What do you think of colours?' Louis randomly asked. 'What do you mean?' Harry asked. 'Well, what kinds of things do colours make you think of?' Louis asked again. 'For example, green makes me think of you.' Harry chuckled. 'And how's that?' 'Your eyes. They're gorgeous.' Now it was Harry's turn to blush; he wasn't expecting a compliment in return. 'Red reminds me of roses and love.' Harry said, looking at Louis. 'Because of the flower language?' Louis asked, and Harry got really happy because Louis actually remembered the things Harry had told him. 'Yeah.' 'Yellow reminds me of sunflowers and my guitarist.' Harry laughed at Louis' statement. Isaac was the actual impersonation of the colour yellow, and Harry was lucky to have met the guy as he was very talented. 'Blue reminds me of the sea, you and... peace' Harry said, and Louis looked at him weird. 'Because of my eyes? And how does blue remind you of peace? 'Cause I'd say green if I think if peace.' Harry got a shy smile on his face as he thought of his answer. 'Well, your eyes are beautifully blue so yeah, because of your eyes - and because of your Louis blue sweater. But when I think of the colour blue, it just gives me this peaceful feeling. Plus, every time I'm with you I feel either peaceful or happy.' Louis looked at him happily, but also a little amused. 'Did you really just say Louis blue?' He asked with a grin. 'I uhm- maybe...'

A while later, Harry suddenly started talking about a more serious subject. 'Hey, Lou? The reason I've got nothing to worry about is that I pushed everyone away.' Louis was completely pulled out of his relaxed state as he was worried by Harry's sudden statement. 'What do you mean?' Louis asked, and Harry could hear that Louis cared for him. 'You said that I have nothing to worry about. That's because I pushed everyone away that could hurt me until you came along.' A sad smile appeared on Louis' face. He was happy that Harry felt like he could open up to him, but also sad; Harry had been completely alone since One Direction. That's probably why he called Louis in the first place, all those weeks ago. 'Well if that's the cost for you to not worry, then it's not worth it.' Louis said, and Harry shrugged. 'If for you the cost to live judgement-free is to throw away your happiness, it's not worth it either.' Harry said to Louis, who was a little surprised. But both of them were right; it wasn't worth it.
