Chapter 9

"Evergreen Jungle," said Arnie. "Doesn't sound as bad as anything we recently encountered. Cough-cough, Adrianna de la Santos, cough-cough."
"Wait," said Jordan. He went out of Gary and Arnie's sight.
"The heck is he doing?" Gary said.
Arnie shrugged.
Jordan came back.
"Let's go in the jungle," he said, and they went in.
At first, it was a normal, generic jungle that would be defined as a "ripoff of the jungles from Tarzan." But all of a sudden, a gorilla jumped out and attacked the kids.
"Help!" screamed Arnie. "Help!"
All of a sudden, the gorilla was shot by a large amount of arrows. The gorilla fell on the floor and was dead.
"What the--"
"Bullseye," said a girl with blonde hair and green eyes.
Gary was unable to breathe.
"You brought--" he tried to say to Jordan. "You brought-- you brought a girl? A girl? A GIRL?!"
"Relax, Gary," said Jordan. "Olivia's not going to eat you. Is that right, Olivia?"
"Yes, it is," said Olivia. "Yes, it is."
"I thought we made a rule not to bring your girlfriend," said Arnie.
Jordan thought for a second. "No, we didn't."
It was dark outside. Jordan, Olivia, Gary, and Arnie were sitting around a campfire.
"So, how was being a homeless kid?" Olivia said to Jordan flirtatiously.
"It was cool," said Jordan, also flirtatiously.
"I heard you guys ran into a cannibal," Olivia said. "And a demonic woman who calls herself Adrianna de la Santos."
"Yeah, yeah, yeah," said Jordan in a very obnoxious voice.
"Come on, let's go over there," said Olivia.
Jordan and Olivia went out of sight, holding hands.
"Look at those truck dumpers," said Gary.
"And a traitor too. I can't believe he went ahead and double-crossed us like that by BRINGING A GIRL!" yelled Arnie.
"Oh, I don't think we should distract them," said Gary. "We don't wanna ruin their PERFECT MOMENT!!"
"YEAH!" said Arnie.
"I'm going to go to sleep," said Gary. "Let Jordan and Olivia stay up late, get STONED, and get five minutes of sleep. Tomorrow, we'll show them who's boss."
