The next day was exchanged with dirty looks and angry glances.
"Boys," Olivia said to herself, rolling her eyes.
"Yeah, boys are so annoying," Jordan said, and Olivia bent over to kiss his forehead.
"Well, to be fair, you guys woke up a hundred people," said Arnie. He was so tired that he couldn't open his eyes very wide.
Apparently, Jordan and Olivia were playing extremely loud heavy metal music the entire night, and no one was able to sleep.
"You can't be serious," said Jordan. "We were trying to enjoy."
"I like how you think you were trying to enjoy," Gary said, his voice slurring.
"I like how you sound high," said Jordan.
Jordan decided to look at the map.
"We're climbing rocks next," he said.
Grunts and groans came from Gary and Arnie, and an Isadora Duncan Dance Award-worthy victory dance came from Olivia.
"Oh, please," said Gary. He looked like he wanted to die, and Arnie was holding back tears from anger, confusion, and frustration.
"We literally just encountered an incredibly creepy demonic woman, and now this," said Arnie while he was sniffing.
"That woman is completely evil, and this girl is completely annoying," said Gary.
"Can we go now?" said Jordan.
Arnie started crying, and Gary threw up.
It was almost noon. Jordan, Olivia, Gary, and Arnie finally reached a giant rock mountain.
"This looks legit," said Jordan. "Who's ready?"
Jordan and Olivia happily raised their hands, and Gary and Arnie reluctantly raised their hands.
"Then we go, boys!" Olivia said enthusiastically.
    They started rock climbing.
"Is there anything more fun than this?" Jordan said.
"Nope," Olivia said. "Nothing. Nothing at all."
They reached the top, and saw an icy mountain in front of them.
"Climbin' ice now!" said Jordan. And they went up the ice mountain.
The ice mountain is much more challenging than the rock mountain. There was heavy wind blowing. Suddenly, Gary slipped and started to fall.
"Gary!" Jordan yelled. He jumped out and pulled Gary right before he was able to fall in a deep puddle of freezing water.
"Are you okay, Gary?" Jordan said. "Are you okay?"
"Jordan," Gary said while shivering.
"Yes, Gary?" said Jordan.
"Jordan, if I die," Gary said humbly, "tell Olivia that I said thank you for a lovely day."
"You little--" Jordan said.
Gary sprinted up the mountain as fast as he could, but he was very careful not to fall down again.
It was a long, hard, and cold hike up the mountain. By the time they reached the top, Gary and Arnie were already asleep.
"Aw, great!" said Jordan. "I'm going to have to carry them!"
Olivia stopped cold in her tracks.
"Are you saying that I can't carry them because I'm a girl?"
Jordan sighed and rolled his eyes.
"Carry Arnie," he said.
They hiked down the mountain.
When they reached the bottom, they saw a weird town in front of them. Every building and house seemed to be broken down. There was also a castle that was broken down. No one was there.
"It's a mythological city," said Gary after regaining consciousness. "I wonder..."
"Tharkos," said Jordan. "It says so on the map."
Arnie groaned. "More skeletons," he said.
"We made an agreement," said Gary. "For the rest of this journey, no more skeletons. We're kids. And after that, when the battle starts, we watch as many people getting their heads chopped up as possible. No, no, no."
"Emperor Ginold did this," Jordan said, pointing at a skeleton. "Tharkos used to be a very awesome place. One day, Emperor Ginold decided that all the people from Tharkos are losers, so he raided the entire city and tortured everyone to death. After that, he burned up all the houses, the buildings, and that castle."
"Let's go," said Arnie. "Too many skeletons."
They walked across the city. Little did they know, they were being followed.
"Is that a hotel?" Gary said, pointing at a broken building.
"It sure looks like it," said Jordan. "You know, I'm actually getting tired."
"Me too," said Olivia.
"Oh, so now you guys are finally getting tired," said Gary. "Let's go in there. I can see some beds that aren't completely destroyed."
The  kids went inside the wrecked-up hotel and went to sleep. Right after they fell asleep, Balthazar walked into the hotel, ready to take some action against the kids.
