"So you and Olivia?" Gary said.
    Jordan shook his head.
"I don't have time for her anymore," he said. "She is simply a representation of my childhood, which is gone."
"Ever since we were separated on our journey back to Northeast Planet," said Arnie, "I was expecting you'd become some crazy hipster or something, and if we ever reunite with you, you would probably be on a date with Olivia or something. And what did you become? A Viking soldier."
Jordan tried to smile, but it was practically impossible.
"Can we join your army?" said Gary.
"I don't know, Gary," said Jordan. "You and Arnie have been stuck in that dungeon for the last hundreds of years, but because Ginold was too busy committing mass genocide and being an arsonist out there, he didn't have any time torturing you two. You guys spent centuries playing poker, monopoly, and other childish stuff. You guys never had a chance to grow up."
"But we want to kill Ginold!" Arnie whined.
"That is what he is talking about!" Gary hissed.
"So my number one priority is keeping you two safe," said Jordan.
"What are you, now? Our dad?" Arnie retorted.
"Jordan, I think you need Olivia on your side," said Gary.
"No," said Jordan. "I refuse. She is unprepared for war."
"What do you mean 'unprepared for war'?" Arnie said. "We literally saw her killing a gorilla once."
"That's novice level," said Jordan. "Novice compared to what I've seen and experienced. All those centuries battling Emperor Ginold left behind not only physical scars but also mental scars. If you two or Olivia try to fight in the Great Northeast War, you wouldn't last a minute. It's impossible."
"It's not fair," Arnie said in a childishly hostile voice. "You think you're such a war hero while we only last a minute. Look at my muscles!"
He started flexing. The only issue was, there were no muscles to be seen.
"Um, Arnie?" Gary said. "Just look at how ripped Captain Jordan is."
"True," Arnie said. He put down his arm.
"So I'll have to ask Private Marcus to send you guys to an undisclosed site, and you will stay there until the war is over," Jordan said.
Arnie started pouting while Gary seemed to agree, but at the moment Jordan turned around, Gary started pouting, too.
