Everything is going to be ok (JOPPER)

Day out

2 Weeks later

It was a hot day hotter than any other. Everyone bored out of their minds. Hopper comes back with food, trying to give them exitement or at least something else to be exited about besides the baby. Everything has just been bland recently, nothing to do, eveyone is bored of everything lately.

Hopper walks in with bags of chinese food. "Hey guys"

They all greet him and dig in as soon as the food is set on the table. Stuffing there faces as soon as they sat down, not wasting a single second. Joyce came out of the living room and sat down with everyone. This was a real family moment. Hopper has been more of a dad to the boys than ever, he treats them like they are his own, cares for them, loves them. More than lonnie did.

Joyce sees that and it makes her happy, makes her see hope in the both of them because she knows they are a good team in general with fighting crime and such. But now she realizes that they are good at parenting together to.

"I have an amazing idea, to get us out of the house ya know? There is a perectly cold shady lake not to far from here. Its actually where your mom and I used to go to to get away for a bit." Hopper suggested, Joyce smiled at him.

"No, it was where you guys would have sex right? Kai jumped in

"Seriosly?!" Joyce hit him

"Can we throw him out?" Hopper said annoyed

"HAHAHAHAHAHA you guys love me." Kai laughs

The kids laugh off the awkwardness, try to continue that they don't know that information.

Hopper rubbs his eyes "Anyways its a really nice lake and I think we should go" He trys not to break into laughter. "Theres a hiking trail and at the top is a very nice view of the town. You guys would realy like it." He takes a sip of his coffee

Joyce puts her elbows on the table and rubs her face still a little embarassed. Hopper laughs.

"I was thinking about going and now I don't want to. What if something likw what happened a few weeks happens again?" Joyce worried

" I promise it won't." He toeches her shoulder "Oh come on, what do you guys think?'' Hopper asked the kids.

They all agree to go on saturday They had nothing to do ayway. You would think that at least hopper would have work but he skips it some days, more lately than usual. When the time came they started getting ready, they put water guns and pool noodles and a beachball in the back of the car with a pair of clothes and towels for each person. They brung a cooler with ice cream, drinks and some food.

They leave the house exited to go, they have their swimsuits on under thieir clothes so as soon as they get there they can jump in. Jonathan, El, Will, Nancy, Mike, Max, Lucus, and Dustin all went with them. In separate cars of course.

As soon a they got ther Dustin ripped off his clothes and jumped into the lake and so did the rest of them, besides Joyce and Hopper, they talked and ate food together, while watching the kids play. As they watched Jonathan and Nancy act like two teenagers in love, it reminded them of themselves back in highschool, completely and utterly in love. Couldn't go one day without seeing each other, Joyce and Hopper might have been worse.

"So how you feeling today?" Hopper asks her this every day

"I'm feeling great, other than the braxtion hicks contractions and back aches...i'm great"

"I'm sorry"

"No its fine i'll just take some medicine when we get home, i'm just ready for this little infant to come out of me already"
