POV: Alan

"Ready Jordan?" I ask him. He is nervous.

"I think I will be. Do I smell like dodgeballs?" He gives me a worried look.

"What do dodgeballs smell like?" I give him a questionable look.

"I thought you would know! You were hit by them multiple times, but you got back up.... And then got hit by cupcakes!"

"Well I guess I'm not sure then because of the sweet smell of the blue cupcakes."

"Smirf" he coughs.

"Hey Jordan I think we are ready how about you? You doing ok?" Tyler comes in, and looks at his brother.

Deep inhales and exhales Jordan lets go of his nervousness and readies himself. He looks calm and confident.

"Yes I am ready now," Jordan says with confidence this time.

"Good because we have ten minutes," Tyler gives his brother a shove and runs. Jordan follows running.

I laugh. He leaves and I sit for a few minutes with my guitar at my lap. I start to play.

"Hey dude what's up?" Caleb comes walking in and I smile. "Was that Follow Your Heart? Sounds different with just acoustic."

"Yeah it is. I just felt I needed to play it."

"Why's that? What's the need to play?"

"Well you know that girl you were talking to, Izzy? Her friend Melody is just so blocked off and I am confused on what to say to her once in a while. I felt that when I took her out I thought she was so open to me. She looked relieved. Like she was locking up deep inside and finally let herself be free when she played this with her fingers," I say motioning to the stringed instrument in my hands, "I just had a trouble trying finds word to say from my heart, so I thought I should just listen to the voice controlling my heart. I thought that would work better."

"That's the way to do it! Oh and where did you take her? I know you said you were leaving, but you never said where."

"I took her to the Woodsy Rock," I reply.

"Roar!" He gives his best Katy Perry impression. Without the wig I don't think it works. We both start laughing and can't stop. Then we catch our breath. It wasn't "that" funny but the two of us always seem to not "stop jokes for a little while" to say. Or at least what we've been told. "Why did you take her there?"

"I know that song wasn't on the last album, but I have always thought of it as my Escape you know? Like yours is Mario Kart. Mine is going there and bringing my "little king" there and just let the notes run through my fingers just like I've seen them to today for Melody."

"It sounds like you two really connected. Izzy and I connected 'literally' to the Kart game and I know she let me win, at least I think so. And you named your guitar?"

"What why would she do that? If I could actually play that well I would try to beat you. I know Joey does.

You I just thought it was appropriate for this guitar."

"Don't forget the evil Stamper Cackle. Well she slipped on a banana right as we were about to cross the finish line. She didn't even seem disappointed. I don't know maybe I'm just used to Chad looking sad as either Joey or I crush him. Or she just wanted to see me wear Joey's crown."

"Well Princess Caleb I guess you can look good in crowns or blue wigs."

"Well you look good with blue cupcakes," he grimmaced.

"Touché" I give a sly smile back.

As Me and Caleb are laughing, Chad and Joey walk in. "Ok all the flyers are set up."

"Ok this is going to be great! It'll be the best ever!"

"Why are we doing this again?" Joey asks.

"You know why," Caleb replies, "to get the Lightbulbs on the floor to mingle and get to know one another. To let them shine!"

"Well put Caleb!" Chad pats Caleb on the back.

"Well let's go tell them the good news! Let's show them that they can shine brighter than any light in the sky. They can let their Heart free to express theirselves. Or just have fun and act goofy at the same time!" Joey is bouncing with excitement, "I just want to shake it shake it, like I'm supposed to do right?"

"Oh yeah because I never miss a beat, so I don't think I don't want to miss this," I smile back.

"Yeah that's pretty clear," Joey replies and I smile at that statement.

"You know I think this is what the the bulbs need! I think that we should go Cuz they are heading to the cafeteria for the last part before we let them out for the day," Chad interrupts.

"Alright then let's go!" Caleb dashes for it and we take off, "RACE YA SLOW POKES!!!!"

This is going to be fun!
