The next morning on a beautiful day, the palace stood shining in the sunlight's rays but inside the palace had to tell a different story. Something else was going on inside the royal palace as we speak.

The doors to the courtyard/garden were burst open by Prince Mac storming inside and also somehow missing the back part of his trousers and soaked from head to toe. He was angry and embarrassed, the poor I mean snobby apple tried everything to have the princess fall into his arms.

But alas none of his methods worked on her.

"I've never been so insulted!" he yelled angrily storming his way past the sultan who came in to see what the whole commotion was about. He hoped this prince was making progress with the princess but unfortunately his hopes went flying south.

"Oh, Prince Mac. You're not leaving so soon, are you?" he asked him with a hopeful voice but he seemed a bit desperate at the time to not let the prince leave.

The Prince scoffed and continued to walk away from the worried Sultan, "Good luck marrying her off!" he called out while waving his hand at him.

Hearing the palace doors slam shut, the Sultan, Elder Kettle became a bit annoyed with his daughter, "Oh (Y/n)!" he whispered yelling under his breath. He made his way out into the palace courtyard calling out his daughter's name, "(Y/n)! (Y/n)!"

He goes off into the garden in the courtyard looking for the (s/c) girl but once he saw the back of his daughter sitting near the pond, he was interrupted by (tp/n) (Tiger pet's name). (Y/n)'s pet tiger who blocks him off from going any further towards his owner, going into protective mode. They had a piece of the prince's undershorts in their mouth.

Elder Kettle found the missing piece and grabbed the cloth then yanked it out of (tp/n)'s mouth but only part of it ripped off from the cloth. Which resulted in the poor Sultan falling on his bottom. "Confound it, (tp/n)! So, this is why Prince Mac stormed out!", he said shaking the torn part of the cloth in his hand.

The water of the pond started to bubble and appeared the mermaid Carla Maria, "I knew you would have something to deal with his soaked clothes." he told the smirking mermaid.

Carla shrugged her shoulders, "His attitude stank so I decided to give him a quick clean." she said stifling a laugh with her hand.

"Oh, father. They were just playing with him, weren't you (tp/n)" She said as her pet made their way over to their kind friend. The tiger let their sweet, caring owner-pet and hug them, "You were just playing with that overdressed, self-absorbed Prince Mac, weren't you?" she said to him in a playful voice.

"More like the apple that hasn't fallen far from the tree." Carla chimed in. All three of them laughed as (Y/n) cuddled her pet, enjoying the moment with her friends, until they all looked up at her angry father.

(Y/n) looked away from him, "Ahem." she said clearing herself and Carla Maria went back under the pond smiling sheepishly. "Dearest, you've got to stop rejecting every suitor that comes to call," he said with an exasperated sigh.

"The law says you-"

"...must be married to a prince." (Y/n) interrupted him. Elder Kettle gave his daughter a disapproving glare as he followed her over to the birdcage filled with doves. "By your next birthday." he finished stating the law.

(Y/n) sighed, "The law is wrong." she told him as she ran her fingers over the birdcage. "You've only got three more days!" he told her almost frantically. "Father, I hate being forced into this," she said as she opened up the cage door that held the doves.
