competition?

it's been a few days since the "date" and y/n is very confused on where they stand. sero and denki have been great moral support to girl since she was going to give up and just wait to see when she able to move on her crush.

it's very evident to the girl that momo yaoyorozu also has crush on jirou. y/n is someone who was great at hiding her insecurities but when her "competition" is someone like momo, the h/c girl thinks she doesn't stand a chance.

ever since the "date" momo has been making it more clear about her feeling towards jirou that many of their classmates even caught on. many of them who didn't know about y/n crush even started shipping and betting on when momo would actually confess.

y/n was new to this world of relationship and wasn't really sure although she's had an experience but it didn't end well.

y/n had many different love languages one of them being touch and quality time, it kind of goes her against her personality since she doesn't let anyone who she doesn't like or trust touch her and her social battery runs out pretty fast but she's learned in the one "relationship" she had, that if she really does like someone the way she likes jirou, she's more open to the ideas of dates and affection.

"y/n hey"

"shit denki you scared me" the blonde boy said passing her the drink she asked for

"not my fault your ass was daydreaming again"

"you're staring at them again"

"yeah because is this the third time this week jirou left us to sit with momo"she said as she ate her food

"you're jealous" bakugo said with a stupid smirk on his face

"no i'm not" y/n said activating her water quirk and slashing him.

"I WILL KILL YOU RIGHT NOW"

"please do" the girl sighed at the sight of her crush blushing because of momo.

"DRY ME"

"fine come here just stop yelling"

"are you sure"

"sero i'm not , why would i be jealous if i don't even stand a chance" she replied as she dried bakugo with her wind.

"you don't even know how jirou feels, why are you talking yourself down"

"because jirou could have momo so why would she want to be with me, it just makes no sense"

"you know you're an amazing person right. you're really caring , selfless , comforting and we all love you even bakugo"

"stop talking so bad about yourself before i end up blasting your ass into the space"

"guys" she felt her eyes get teary

"i'm not lying you mean a lot to us and we all know that jirou would be lucky to have a girlfriend like you"

"wait does jirou even like girls"

"yeah she told everyone like the first or second day of school" the pink girl said.

"WHAT, WHEN, HOW, WHY WASNT I AWARE OF THIS"

"denki you didn't"

"shit i must of forgotten"

y/n felt dumb for not knowing , jirou always gave off a vibe but she never want to assume since that's rude.

"so how are going to confess to her"

" i don't know"

"we'll help you" kirishima said cheerfully as they walked back to class.

"operation help y/n confess her feelings to jirou is a go!!!" mina yelled causing everyone to laugh.

momo overheard the 6 teens talk about their ideas. momo was never one to be selfish or anything like that but love and feelings can make someone that way.

momo wasn't going to back down , she was going to try to jirou hers before y/n could.
