the truth

EARLIER TODAY

jirou always tried her best to stay away from y/n and their friends , though it pained her, she was just so hurt about everything that's she didn't want anything to do with them.

but every now and then her mind reminds her of all  the fun times she had with all of the especially y/n.

she felt different around y/n , she felt like she could do anything when she was with her , she felt like she could just be herself around her.

she felt free and she loved everything second about it.

but everything got taken away quickly when those words came out of momos mouth.

she felt so heartbroken, she didn't want to believe it but why would momo lie about that ?

"MINAAAA HAVE YOU SEEN Y/N , WHERE IS SHE?  " the yellow haired boy yelled out shaking her out her thoughts

"SHE WENT OUT WITH KENDO , YOU LITERALLY SAID BYE TO HER" mina yelled

"oh you're right, i guess i'll just wait for her so i can tell her what happened in chainsaw man"

"if you spoil it for her , she'll beat you up you know" the purple haired girl answered without thinking as she started mentally scolding herself.

"yeah i know  she like th- wait , you talked to me "

" no i didn't "

"yes you did"

"BROOO i missed you so mucchhh , y/n missed you so much, she was crying like almost every night since you stopped talking to her" he said hugging the girl tightly

"i shouldve been the one crying , you guys were the one who talked shit about me and made me think you guys were my friends"

"huh , what are you talking about?"

"don't act stupid kaminari"

"no i'm not i promise, and why would y/n talk she about you. she's was like completely in love with yo-" he said before mina came up behind him and slapped his head so he wouldnt keep talking.

"jirou what denki is trying to say is that your friendship was something very important to
y/n and to us, so we wouldn't do something that to ruin it"

"but momo said that you guys were talking bad about me whenever i wasn't there"

"jirou we would never , plus there's nothing even bad about you to talk about ! please believe us"

"i- i dont-" the girl couldn't believe what she was hearing. she was so confused and hurt once more.

all the confusion and pain she dealt was for nothing , all the memories with momo after that were fake. they weren't genuine anymore.

worse of all , if none of it was true she ruined her friendship with y/n of a stupid lie.

PRESENT TIME

"i'm glad you made it"

"the fuck do you want momo"

"i just want to talk"

"see but i don't , sometimes i think that a fight is better than words"

"look i don't want to fight , seeing that your things angry it means you already what happened"

"yeah i had the pleasure of finding out today"

" i just want to apologize then , i don't what came after me. so for that i am sorry"

"you know what , i can tell you why. it's because you're whole life you've gotten what you've wanted and right when you saw you couldn't get you want you got upset. see i remember when we first met you said that you and i aren't so different but if you think about that's a complete and utter lie because we're completely different. i wouldn't lie to someone because i'm that insecure about myself."

"well i just didn't want to see jirou with someone like you"

"like me?"

"yeah , i could give her things that you can't. let's be honest y/n what can someone with no family even give someone. don't you have enough baggage to deal with"

"nice that's cool" they said walking up to her.

"but to honest i really don't give a fuck" y/n said before punching her straight in the face.

"who are you to decide who she can be with ? youre so far up your own ass you can't even tell"

"and you're wrong about the no family thing , i have denki and my amazing other friends so i don't need the people who abandoned me just because of who i am or just because they felt like it"

"you're a bitch you know" momo said she her nose started bleeding.

"thanks i know" she sent her a quickly smile.

"huh denki ?" she said turning around to see mina , jirou , sero and denki all standing there.

"oh hey everyone, how long have you guys been there" she said with a smile.

"the whole time" mina answered

"cool ima go lock myself in my room now thanks byeeeee"

"oh momo , you should put some ice on that so you don't bruise so badly because i don't need any of the teachers bothering me also fuck you" she said flipping her off before rushing passed her fiends quickly before they could say anything her.

"momo? this whole time. it was a lie" jirou said with tears in her eyes.

"yeah , the whole thing with them saying bad stuff about you was a lie but listen i just liked you so much and i just wanted to make you happy so i thought if i-"

" well you thought wrong , i told you i didn't like you that way , i was already so confused with my own feelings so you decided to lie to me ? i thought we were friends"

"but we are!"

"yeah some friend you are"
