The twins tumbled out of the mirror. They groaned, their heads hurting because of the inter-dimensional travel. Mabel was the first to get up.

"Ugh, we're just back in our room again. That mirror is a fraud."

Dipper dragged his hand across the wall and looked around the room. "I don't know, Mabel. It's way messier and it doesn't have any beds." Dipper squeaked and jerked his hand away from the wall. A splinter had stuck itself in his thumb.

Mabel frowned and walked to the window. "Maybe this dimension isn't as cool and futuristic as I thought it would be." She dug her hand around a little in her pocket and threw Dipper a safety pin. As Dipper frantically tried to pull out the stubborn piece of wood, Mabel scanned the new world they had entered and gasped.

With absolutely zero progress on the problem in hand, Dipper asked, "What?"

"Wendy looks like a freak."

"Oh really? You're just making fun of her because she looks so ho- like she just got out of bed."

"See for yourself, loverboy."

Dipper walked over to the windowsill and nearly fell over in surprise. Wendy looked completely goth, just like Robbie. She was leaning against a van, heeding no attention to the guy screaming at her. Oh, no. The guy was Robbie. A nicer looking Robbie, with his hair neatly combed and wearing proper clothes. He held a broom and was pointing it at Wendy and her gang, looking as if they might bite him. He shook the brim and yelled something. Wendy snorted and whispered something to her entourage. They jumped into the van and drove out of sight.

Dipper fell back slightly. "I think I know what kind of alternate dimension this is..." He trailed off.

"So what are we waiting for? Let's go!" Mabel opened the window and started sliding out.

"Woah, woah, woah! Why don't we just go out the door?"

"Duh, because if our alternate selves see us, it could could cause some serious paradoxes. Or paradi. Yeah, paradoxes."

She grabbed Dipper's hand and swiftly slid down the roof and landed gracefully on her feet. Dipper, on the other hand, almost cut through his lip trying to stop himself from screaming, and his splintered hand dug into Mabel's skin. He landed smack on his face.

Mabel grimaced and checked her hand. "Is that... blood?"

Dipper watched as Mabel's eyes filled with tears. "No! I'm sorry, I just.."

"That's okay bro. I should have helped you before. Here." She easily pushed the sliver of wood out of her brother's thumb. "Let's go talk to Nice Robbie."

They walked closer to the front of the building, where Robbie was cleaning the patio with a broom.

"Hi, could you help us?" Mabel asked cautiously.

Without looking up, Robbie replied almost robotically, "Hello, welcome to the Mystery Shack, where we put the fun in refunds. How may I help you?"

Robbie looked up and gasped. He turned even paler than he already was, if that was possible. He screamed and ran inside."GIDEON!! PACIFCA!! HELP!!"
