I am standing with Monika as everyone else goes over a plan and tries to figure something out

"So.. they are ok?"

Monika: "somewhere, but yes.. I'm sorry.. it's been a while.. may I? *she motions to my hand*"

"Uhh.. sure.. I mean we are.. dating and all?"
She takes my hand in hers

Monika: "(leading me over to the others) don't question it, we are"

Tony: Anybody remember when I carried a nuke through a wormhole?

Rhodes: No, it's never come up.

Tony: Saved New York?

Rhodes: Never heard that.

Tony: Recall that? A hostile alien army came charging through a hole in space. We're standing three hundred feet below it. We're the Avengers. We can bust arms dealers all the live long day, but, that up there? That's... that's the end game. How were you guys planning on beating that?

Steve: Together.

Tony: We'll lose.

Steve: Then we'll do that together, too.
Tony looks at him for a moment before turning away

Steve: Thor's right. Ultron's calling us out. And I'd like to find him before he's ready for us. The world's a big place. Let's start making it smaller.

"So.. where do we go? What do we do and how exactly are we gonna do it?"

Everyone looks at me

"What?"

Monika: "oh it's just.. your new and.. this is dangerous.. you've already died before.. and I do t want to go through that again"

"Then I won't die, simple, what do we do"

Natasha: "no offence kid, but you snuck in here and took out a robot, that isn't enough for us to go by"

"Snuck into a crowded party at the avengers place and nobody noticed until I showed myself, and took out an Ultron bot, there now I sound experienced.. oh and I just helped save the multiverse without even knowing I had my ice or wind powers"

Everyone stares again

"Yeah.. I'm helping and that's final, Bruce what you got?"
I distract everyone and bring their attention to Bruce who is reading something on a computer

Monika: "(quietly) I know you want to help.. but please.. if it gets too dangerous please go to safety"

"I can't promise that Monika.. I'm sorry, but I have to be the one in danger or it's someone else, and I at least have a defence mechanism against danger"

Monika: "....(tearing up a little) your my (y/n).. there no doubting that.. I love you.."

"I love you too.. please don't cry"

Monika wipes her tears and holds me, I hug her back. Then we head out to face Ultron
