"What are you two doin!?!"

Ringo exclaimed, upset as his transfixed eye glance towards that drum set in the window was taken away from him.

"We're saving you from being crushed!" George exclaimed in his thick accent. Paul added. "And listen up lassie, you not getting that drum set. It's a shame but it's the truth."

And Ringo wishes they were wrong but although his dreams could reach mountains and hills that reached the highest cloud, this dream could never seep low to the lowest price.

The drums costed too much. The two lads who swept him away from the lovely sight couldn't even afford their dream themselves, guitars.

They had guitars until the had to sell them to retrieve a bigger opportunity career wise in the battle of the bands in Hamburg Germany which is where they were now.

"Well maybe John and Rory can get us what we want this Christmas." Ringo said hopefully as he kicked little pebbles down the lit multicolored decorated road.

George and Paul followed behind Ringo, wearing jackets to keep warm in the winter night and wore ear muffs and gloves. They also wore doubtful expressions. The two realists looked at each other and shook their head. "If that were so, life would be way to perfect."

"Yeah and plus, you know how Rory is very aware of things.." Paul said. "Rory means good and all but he's so precautious. He's not even sure if he wants to let you go of his group."

"Well yes I'm aware Paul, that's why he's staying at the house. He's trying to butter up Rory." Ringo stated the obvious.

Paul shrugged. "Whatever. Cmon, it's getting late.."

And so the three men who craved for the touch of a instrument trudged home in the cold, bitter wind sent chills down their spine, delighted getting ready for a typical night of easy slumber.

"Bye bye Paul." Ringo said as Paul fled to the house that was shared with a German woman that took Pauls charm and other duties as pay that was only 5 houses down his and George's place in which was being rented from the neighbors.

They finally arrived home, bolted up the stairs like children and did all the fixings of the night routine. And with quick assurance of their brains, they fell into slumber on their beds that sat next to each other.
