Addison's POV

"Mom I'm going" I yelled from the door. "Okay love you be safe" she yelled back and I went out to my car. "I saw you coming from down the road" Thomas told me referring to my fruit painted jeep. I rolled my eyes and hugged him. Bryce kissed me walking out of the garage.

"Do you know what we're doing today" Thomas asked standing in front of me with Bryce. I shook my head. "Good" Bryce said and kissed my cheek. They drove off somewhere and I went inside and hung out with Alex and Charli. We played just dance, well me and Charli played and Alex and Ryland made us laugh. "I think we lost Addi to sway" Ryland said to Alex. "Oh shut up" I said to him and through a stuffed animal at him.

"He's kidding Addi we're all happy you and Bryce are doing good" Charli told me as she glared at Ryland. "I know" I laughed and went back to dancing with Charli. I went downstairs after a while and Thomas and Bryce came up to me. "So you need to go back to your house and we'll meet you there" Thomas told me. "Why" I asked, "no reason" Bryce smiled. I gave in after they begged me for a while and drove home.

Bryce and Thomas arrived around 20 minutes later. "Alright so just stay inside and I'll come get you when we're done" Bryce told me standing in my doorway. "I'm scared" I giggled and my mom entered the room. "I'll make sure she doesn't peak" she told Bryce and Thomas. I sighed and they went outside.

I asked my mom what they were doing but she refused to tell me. I laid on my bed and scrolled through TikTok for what felt like hours. I got a little upset as I watched more than one video commenting on my body. You're beautiful, they just want to bring you down, I told myself. I heard footsteps and quickly blinked away my tears and brought a smile to my face. "Okay we're ready for you" Bryce said. I got up and he covered my eyes leading me outside.

"I swear to god if you make me fall" I threatened but he just laughed and continued leading me somewhere. "Surprise" he, Thomas, and Micheal yelled. "You've gotta be kidding me" I sighed masking the heat rising to my cheeks. I analyzed my car which was not covered in pictures of me and Bryce. "I hate you" I told Bryce and he came and hugged me from behind. "No you don't" he whispered and I rolled my eyes.

After we were done filming what Thomas needed for his video, Bryce helped me take the pictures off my car so we could drive to get food. "You should keep one" he said sitting on the hood. "Why is that" I looked up at him. "Well I think we should hang it in your room, and then we can take a new one and put them next to each other. Like a timeline" he smiled. "You're such a simp" I told him and tapped his nose. I walked inside.

"Where are you going" he called after me. "To hang a picture" I winked at him and he followed me inside. We hung it on my wall and left space for a new one that we would take at some point. "Can we get food now" Bryce complained and I nodded grabbing my keys and going out to my car. We left a lot of the photos in the trunk because we were both to lazy to try and get them all out. As I pulled out a few blew into the street.

"Maybe Fletcher will find them" Bryce shrugged. "Oh yeah let's leave him a trail so he can find us easier" I said sarcastically and he started laughing. We got Chick-fil-A and went back to my house to eat by the pool. He looked up at me from his chicken and smiled a big doofy smile. I smiled back at him. It was almost impossible not to.

We went upstairs to my room after finishing our food and started watching some boxing match that Bryce put on. I laid my head on his chest and put my legs on his. I wonder if I feel heavy. Does he think I'm fat? I tried to block the thoughts from my head, but they just kept coming back. I started to feel the tears rising despite my best efforts. Somehow I calmed myself down without Bryce noticing.

I went on Instagram and read some of the comments on my recent post. Okay bad idea. I moved to TikTok and did the same. Even worse idea. Bryce must have seen the comments because he took my phone and set it on my beside table. "You don't need to be reading that stuff" he told me. I hid my face in my pillow and he put his hand on my back. "Addi" he said trying to get me to look at him but I knew if I did I would cry.

"Listen, all of those people look at you and see everything they wish they could be. They see someone successful, beautiful, kind, and everything good there can be in someone. They're jealous so they try to push their insecurities and hate onto you by trying to make you feel worse about yourself. You have to know that you're beautiful and you can't listen to them. I know you, they know it, and most of all deep down you know it." He said in the most poetic way I've ever heard him speak.

I got up from my pillow and wrapped my arms around his neck, and legs around his waist. "I love you okay? You're perfect just the way you are" Bryce said hugging my waist tightly. "I love you too" I pulled away and wiped my tears. I kissed him and we returned to our previous position except this time he pulled me almost completely on top of him and wouldn't let me move. He held me there and for once I didn't question if he was uncomfortable. He wasn't.

We stayed like that until he left and went back to Sway at around midnight. I put on some shorts and a sports bra to sleep in. I looked in the mirror and decided tonight I wouldn't obsess over how I looked. If I'm perfect to Bryce that's enough for me.
