Fluttershy was glad to have some company at the animal shelter after school. She found it awfully sweet how Rainbow Dash went out of her way to see her after soccer practice. Now she and Rainbow were, on the shelter's floor. It was quite comfortable for the both of them, despite being on the floor. Fluttershy had swept beforehand so there was no animal fur or dust to worry about. Angel Bunny and Tank seemed to be getting along as well. Angel sat atop Tank's shell claiming that "he can keep a better eye on the both of Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy that way". Fluttershy brushed Angel's protectiveness off, she found it silly yet understandable.

"I'd really hate to ruin the fantasizing moment and all...but I really need your help with my math homework..." Rainbow said with her voice cracking slightly.

"Of course I'll help!" Fluttershy was happy to help, it'd mean she'd get to stay with Rainbow just a little longer.

"Juuuust a few more minutes though?" Rainbow asked, nuzzling Fluttershy's head.

"Alright...but just a few minutes...I'd hate for you to be behind on anything if I had any say in it..." Fluttershy lectured.

"It's settled!" Rainbow rested her head against Fluttershy's.

Fluttershy lifted Rainbow's hand. Intertwining her fingers with hers, she kissed it softly, "Good."

"Ya know Shy...I was thinking..." Rainbow began to say, "About when we were younger."

"Yes?" Fluttershy asked curiously.

"Do you remember how you got your nickname? I-I mean...the one I call you?" Rainbow asked, a little flustered for some reason.

"Oh, yes I do? I mean...I believe so. Remind me again?" Fluttershy requested.

"The big tree." Rainbow said simply, "We were six."

"Oh! How could I forget?" Fluttershy exclaimed.

"Yeah...that was a long time ago huh?" Rainbow laughed.

"I came to watch you play you know." Fluttershy said, smiling in remembrance.

"R-really?!" Rainbow turned to her in disbelief.

"Why, of course. I always did. Did you not notice?" Fluttershy questioned.

"I-I mean..now that you mention it, I guess I remember seeing you at a lot of my practices." Rainbow recalled.

"I liked it because your practices were always outside. I loved that tree." Fluttershy said nostalgically.

"Of course they were outside, it's soccer Flutters-" Rainbow cackled.

Fluttershy loves hearing Rainbow laugh. To others it may irritate the ears quite a bit but to Fluttershy, it's nothing but soothing.

She sighed calmly, "Yes, I know."

"You'd always be under that same tree. The amount of times I snuck out to see you...I don't know how I got away with it most of the time!" Rainbow looked at Fluttershy, smiling widely.

"You definitely broke a record there, Rainbow Dash." Fluttershy giggled.

"Oh, for sure!" Rainbow exclaimed.

Fluttershy continued to giggle. Rainbow joined her. Suddenly, she stopped. Staring into Fluttershy's eyes, Rainbow smiled so adoringly at her. Her heart fluttered at this. Those bright, magenta eyes. Rainbow Dash proceeded to pull Fluttershy into a sort of embrace. She held her tightly, burying her face in her right shoulder.
