About 10 minutes into the movie, Fluttershy started blabbering. Which is not really like her, unless it's about animals or plants. In this case, it was about how 'cute' Gizmo was, the little fuzzy creature.
"Aww look at his little ears!" Fluttershy squealed, "And the little noises he makes, isn't that just the cutest!?"
"Those ears look pretty big to me, Fluttershy." Pinkie pointed out.
Sunset couldn't wait until the 'horror' portion started coming into play, which wasn't far from now.
"What even is that thing called?" Applejack asked obnoxiously.
"It's some weird name that no one remembers. I'd know, cause I don't remember it either." Sunset replied, keeping her eyes on the screen.
"Mog...wai?" Rarity said, sounding like she was reading something.
"Huh?" Twilight asked, pushing her glasses back.
She always does that when she's confused or focused. Twilight was clearly confused in this case.
"I looked up what that...thing is and it says it's a..." Rarity passed the phone to Applejack for assistance.
"Mogwai?" Applejack read slowly.
"Oh yea, that's it." Sunset said, turning back around.
"I wonder if that creature really exists? Oh, I'd have a million!" Fluttershy exclaimed.
"Wouldn't be too sure about that." Sunset mumbled under her breath.
"Well they do seem to be very intelligent, and good with tech. That's enough convincing for me." Twilight said with optimism.
About 20 minutes pass by and Sunset knew exactly what was about to come.
"I swear Sunset Shimmer, if this results in something ghastly, I will get up and make my depart." Rarity said nervously.
"Whatever you say." Sunset said, holding in her suspense.
"Wait how is this a horror movie again?" Rainbow Dash asked.
"There's nothing to worry about Rarity, this movie doesn't seem scary at a-" Fluttershy gasped in misbelief as she gawked at the screen.
It was the gremlins's time to shine. Sunset giggled.
"Wha-what a-are THOSE?" Fluttershy pleaded shakily.
"Are those the whatchamacallits?" Twilight asked, unimpressed.
"Just watch." Sunset said, a pleased smile on her face.
"I-I don't like where this is going..." Fluttershy began, "I..DONT LIKE WHERE-"
Fluttershy stopped yelling once she realized everyone had turned from the screen to stare at her as if she was the movie. She quickly shrunk down, pink faced, into Rainbow's chest.
Rainbow proceeded to take off her blue jacket, and place it so the hoodie was over Fluttershy's head, and the rest acted as a blanket down her back, some resting on Rainbow's own lap. Fluttershy let out a little peep, grabbing the sleeves tightly and pulling them inwards to make a jacket-cocoon.
"She's fine." Rainbow said to the others, resting her head lazily against Fluttershy's.
Sunset rolled her eyes and redirected them back to the screen.
"Oh, they're just gruesome!" Rarity, "How does one find this enjoyable?"
"People with good movie taste." Sunset said sarcastically, "I mean c'mon Rarity this is a classic!"
