chapter 3

Beam's POV:

I looked at my watch for the nth time
I had to meet with my boss and client exactly at 9am but it was almost 11 am and I didn't see either of them
And P'Tom (boss) is not picking up my calls

Just then my mobile rang

" hello p' ...its already 11 ..client is still not here and you.." before I can finish he impatiently answered

"Ah ah i know p'seo (client) he requested to postpone the meeting to 4pm I forgot to inform you ...its in office only don't be late "

That's it the line went dead.... I've been waiting for almost 3 hours and ...he...causally said i forgot ... and not even a sorry ...

That basterd gets on my nerves every damn time this isn't the first time he does this to me ... this is much better lot of times he makes me go through shit

I massaged my forehead lightly to relax my self a little

"Excuse me sir" a small voice came from beside me .. I looked up to see a waitress place a cup on my table

"Sorry but ...I haven't ordered anything" I said confused

" sir you didn't order .. this is on the house .. our boss personally asked to serve you " she smiled before walking away

I looked at the cup before me and took a sip of the content in the cup ....

It was vanilla flavoured milk it was really calming but in these type of large cafes do they sell these type of beverages ?? I didn't wanna think too much and enjoyed the taste of the drink.

(Time skip )

It was 9pm already I placed my files back in the drawer and cleaned my desk .. before going back home but a knocking sound came from my cabin door .. followed by P'Tom entering my cabin

"P'Tom ... " ..this guy why is he here

"Ah I guess you are ready to leave " he asked me

"Yes .." I replied he nodded and walked beside me

"You look so hot in this black shirt.. it just seduce me " he said while letting his finger trace my hand

"And you work hard ...let me reward you " he said trying to remove my shirt button

I smiled while gently pushing away his hand

"P'Tom I already told you I need no reward nor you .." I said while picking up my bag

"And you know I am not tasteless " i smiled again before walking out

I heard him angrily pushing something and mumbling but i didn't care

If i am in a position where I don't need this job i swear i will punch that asshole right on his face .....

At times like this i wonder 'If only forth was beside me ...'

Author 's pov :

A guy crawled on the floor he was bleeding his car stood in the middle of the street he was surrounded by more than 10 people they kicked and hitted him repeatedly until a voice called out for them to stop

The owner of the voice bent down closely to the guy on the ground and said in a whisper

"I am letting you live this time but if I see you again I won't let you see the light "

The guy on the ground would not move or speak but he heard a vehicle start and riding off then he heard the others say

"I really don't know how you offended our boss that he came in person to deal with you which doesn't happen often but I am amazed he spared your life "

The chatting of the guys went on

Before the guy on the floor passed out

Beam's POV:

It was almost 8 in the morning I rushed through the office door ...tho I was in a hurry I noticed something  was off ....it was unusual because everyone seems to immersed in talking and some buzz was going on

...right when I wanted to know what all this fuss is about nong solar walked towards me greeting me with his usual smile

I asked him what it was that the whole office is going on about

"P'beam you didn't hear ?" He asked me back

"What I didn't hear ?" I blinked

"About what happened to P'Tom?" He tilted his head towards me. As if something big has happened

"No , is he dead ?" I asked jokingly

"Almost " I stopped in my track

"What I was just joking " I was puzzled I just ...saw him yesterday

"He was hit badly yesterday by ..." he lowed his voice

"By..." I aske curiously

" The DZ gang " I was shocked.. DZ is the biggest underground mafia gang in whole Thailand... and what do they have to do with P'Tom

"And it seems the leader of DZ himself came " I was even more puzzled

"I've hear the leader of DZ never appeared in person .."

"Did P'Tom offend him in anyways ?" I asked solar

"May be ..you know him right is there a person he never offended before ?" 

"Hmm.." .... something was not right ...

My phone  vibrated in my hand indicating  I receiveda message....

" beam its ..me forth .. can we meet up "
