Beam's POV :
Every day it becomes harder and harder to live .. at this point all I feel is exhaustion . As I walk back home my mind lingers back to those good old times ...when life was perfect as a kid .
I opened the front door to my home ..and sighed while turning on the lights .
Every damn day coming back home with no one looking forward for you .. the same pattern of turning on lights and cooking some instant food and showering then going to bed and again running in morning to get scolded all throughout the day by my boss ... this is what my life has been for the past few years
Did I ever wish for this ? " No"
Just when I was immersed in my own thoughts it was cut short by my phone ringing aloud
I picked it up from my desk
' unknown ' contact Id flash brightly on the screen .
I answered the call
" hey beam " came a soft voice as soon as I received the call ..my heart stopped for a moment .. I know this voice..
"Forth ?" I said pulling myself together
" I am waiting outside your place ... will you come down ? " I looked at my wall clock it was almost past 10
"Ok I am coming " I just heard a small hmm befor the line went dead ...
I am in no mood to dress up ...why should I dress up to meet my ex-boyfriend .. so..
I just walked out with my night wear a sweat pants and a oversized sweat shirt but I regret it ...
There stood forth more handsome then back in college in his black ripped jean and white sweater simple yet sexy ..
(Wait !!! he is my ex !!! Damn beam )
I casually said hi while he was smiling his signature smile damn
"Hey beam ..wow you look gorgeous" I wanted to slap myself or should I slap him and make him wear some specs ?
"Quite joking around ...I am in night dress if you cant see properly " he laughed a bit ...
" hmm what brings you here after 3 years since you disappear after college ? " he didnt answer that but
"Ice cream just like old times ? " he questioned me back
Should I accept or decline his offer ?
