the end and the beginning

"Darling, are you ready yet? It's been so long, don't tell me you're still playing-" you hear Akaashi open the door and you turn away from the computer to look up to him. You were still in your robe and a towel was wrapped around your head and you were still playing a game.

"Baby, please get ready.." he sighed. He walks up to you and bends down to give you a hug.

He rests his head on your shoulder and hums a tune. "What are you playing?" he asks in the middle of it.

"Uh- Minecraft-? Wait, why? Wanna play with me?" you said in a soft voice as you caress his cheek.

"Hm, maybe later, we need to go somewhere, right? So go get ready." he says as he gets up. He was already dressed up and you weren't. He was wearing a white shirt tucked in some light wash jeans and he had a brown plaid polo over his shirt. He was also wearing his glasses since he recently got some new ones.

"Ok, sorry, I'll go dress up, ok?" you get up and go on your toes to kiss him. He pulls you in for a hug after and he walks out of the room. You wore a white collared shirt under a light brown crewneck with a brown plaid skirt to try to match Akaashi's outfit.

You finish up and go downstairs to see Akaashi going through some books. You have recently moved in with Akaashi in a small apartment after you guys turned 21. Although his mom is still in Canada, she ended up liking you and accepting you as his girlfriend. Masumi (if y'all remember her) was forced to stop talking to Akaashi because he persuaded his mom to do so.

His dad was already ok with whoever he wanted to be with, so that was an easy catch. The both of you were then allowed to move in with each other. The two of you, including Yams, Tsuki and Bokuto all finished school together* and Yamaguchi and Tsuki were also planning to move in together. Bokuto wanted to continue playing sports with three other people and he wanted Akaashi to be one of them but he wanted to stay with you.

When you moved in with him, he brought two full boxes of books. You kind of didn't know that he was a bookworm until you shared the same roof with him. He stored his books in some small bookshelves in a corner of your place. There was a little table with a picture of the two of you in a theme park in the middle of it. There was also a short stool there for him and he called it his "comfort corner."

He was sitting on his stool and you thought he was reading some books. You walked over to see him going through a thick photo book with a bunch of pictures of the two of you with Bokuto, Yams and Tsuki.

"Babe, are you going through photo books again?" you say as you wrap your arms around his shoulders. He tilts his head on your arm and nods. You flip through with him and you both laugh at random pictures that were in the book.

"REMEMBER WHEN YAMS STARTED CRYING BECAUSE OF THE ROLLERCOASTER???" you point out as you both burst out in laughter while looking at a picture of Yamaguchi crying while holding on to Tsuki.

You loose track of time but you both ended up going to where you were supposed to go. The car ride took long for some reason. Even so, you both just listened to music that you both liked. You cherished every single second you were with him and he did the same.

He stops the car and looks at you. "Looks like we're here." he says as he smile warmly.

You get out the car with him and you looked around. It looked like it was a really big park type of place and there was a lot of people. There were small hills in the distance and he lead you to one of them.

"It's 6:27pm, so we just have to wait until it gets darker, ok?" he says as he sits down. The sun was already setting, so you didn't have to wait too long. Time passed by really quickly and the both of you talked about random things for the duration of the time.

"Oh, Akaashi, remember the time that, like- we first did it-??" you mentioned.

"Uh, yeah, why? I'm scared, oh my gosh." he said. You laughed and tried to keep your cool.

"Ok, ok, just a question. How did you, like, how were you so bold??? Like, it was as if you were drunk, but you weren't." you said. He laughed and started getting embarrassed.

"NOO, PLEASE, I DON'T KNOW WHY I WENT RIGHT IN TO IT." he says as he tries to hide his face. He starts to laugh with you and you have never been so happy. Seeing him happy made you so glad.

Night falls and everyone started to settle down. You hear loud noises and you look up to see fireworks. He took you to see fireworks. You watched as different colours popped up in the sky. Some people were taking pictures and you just watched.

"Woah, it's so beautiful! Right, Akaashi??" you say, amazed, not taking your eyes off the fireworks.

Akaashi looks at you and smiles. "Yeah. Yeah it is."

You always think that this was only the beginning of your new story with Akaashi, in which you weren't wrong. You've always felt lucky that his initials were the ones that you were given and he felt the same. You've never felt so happy in your life and you've also made him happier.

You being 'engraved' on his skin and him being on yours made a big change in your life.

You swore to keep loving him till death and he swore to do the same.

"Remember, this is only the start, darling."

BRO I FINALLY FINISHED OMG

*also just mentioning the characters, i added a bunch of random characters from different schools bc i kinda wanted all of them to be in the same school. i also made tsukiyama and akaashi in the same year as bokuto. also ushigushi was there for a bit, but he was just there like- as a filler (sorry ushi </3) but yea, for anyone wondering
