Your teacher finally wrapped up the class and it was finally lunch.

"heY, HEY, HEY!!!!!" you heard a familiar voice in the distance.

"Oh shit, here he comes." you mumbled.

"Oh, hi Bokuto." Yamaguchi greeted him. He slapped your back and it forced you forward so quickly.

"Bitch, chill out." you said as you tried reaching for the spot he hit. He laughed and Yamaguchi laughed along with him.

"Guys, where do you wanna eat?" Tsuki asked.

"Let's go to the rooftop!" Yamaguchi insisted. Tsuki nodded and you did too.

"You comin' with us, Bokuhoe?" Tsuki asked.

"Nah, I'm going with my friend." he replied.

"Bokuto-san, you ready to go?" someone from behind him said. You peeped and saw who it was.

"akAAAAASHI HELLO!!!" Bokuto yelled.

"Bokuto-san, you're being too loud. Please calm down." he said in a calm voice.

"He has such a nice, calming tone and I love it." you thought.

"Sorry, hahahahaha. Lez go." Bokuto said and dragged Akaashi out the door.

"I feel bad for the guy." you said. Yams and Tsukishima nodded. You all stood up and headed towards the rooftop with your lunches. You guys found a spot and sat down.

"Wait, y'all wanna play volleyball after we eat?" you asked.

"Oh, I forgot that you played volleyball." Tsuki said.

"Dumbass, I played with you last week how do you forget? Anyways, I'll eat quickly and I'll go get a ball from the gym." you insisted. They nodded and you all continued to eat.

You finished quickly and stood up to go to the gym.

"Oh, by the way, I think there are people there." Yamaguchi said before you left. You nodded and left.

"Go quickly, ok??" you heard Yams yell from a distance. You turned back and gave a thumbs up.

You sprinted your way to the gym. You saw a few people in the hallways and in classrooms and you just zoomed your way past them. You were near the gym until you bumped into someone.

"Oh, I'm so sorry," they said.

"Are you ok?" they continued.

"Uh, yeah, I'm fine. What about you-" you looked up and it was Akaashi.

"Oh, Y/n?" he looked surprised. He helped you up and you brushed yourself off.

"Thank you, Akaashi." you said.

"This is so cliche, I swear." you thought.

"No problem. Oh, where are you going? If you don't mind me asking." he asked.

"Oh, I was going to the gym to get a volleyball." you replied. He flinched a bit when you said volleyball.

"Oh, you play volleyball?" he asked.

"Yeah but I'm not all that good. Do you?" you asked. You kind of wished that he didn't because if he did, he would literally be the most perfect man alive.

"Yeah, I do. I play as a setter. What position do you play in?" he asked.

"HE PLAYS. NO." you thought.

"Oh, uh, I'm a setter, too. But I need a bit more practice." you replied.

"Oh, so like me? That's cool too!" he beamed.

"Oh wait, I forgot what I was supposed to get-" you mumbled. You heard Akaashi giggle.

"You said you were supposed to get a volleyball. I'll go get one with you." he said.

"Ah, no, you don't have to. I can go get one myself." you smiled. He ended up dragging you to the gym.

"No, I insist. Now, let's go." he was holding your wrist and you were pretty close to him. He had a good grip on your hand, too. That's when you started to notice small details about him.

"Oh, he smells like.. Lavenders-? Kinda? His hair looks so fluffy, too. Even fluffier than Yamaguchi's and Tsuki's. Lowkey wanna touch it. His skin looks so soft tooooooooooooooooooooo. " you thought.

You guys stopped walking and when you looked up, you guys were already in the gym. He headed to the volleyball cart and grabbed a ball and threw it to you.

"Here, take it." he threw it to you and you caught it.

"Hey, do you mind if you show me how you set? Let's see if I can help you improve since you said that you weren't very good." he offered. You flinched a little.

"That was NOT even close to what I said-" you thought.

You thought about it and thought that maybe he can actually help.

"Oh, yeah, for sure! I would love to have you-" you were cut off by someone yelling.

"WHAT IS TAKING YOU SO LONG, YOU IDIOT YOU'VE BEEN GONE FOR 15 MINUTES NOW AND YOU WERE WITH AKAASHI ALL ALONG??? YOU LITTLE-" both you and Akaashi turned to see Yamaguchi at the door. You heard distant screaming in the background right after.

"AKAASHI WERE YOU LEAVING ME AGAIN?? HOW COULD YOU??" it was Bokuto. It was obvious that he was genuinely upset.

"Bokuto-san, I was just trying to help Y/n. I'm sorry." Akaashi replied calmly.

"They're literally two people from different dimensions. Akaashi seems so calm and collected and Bokuto is so loud and outgoing. This friendship is very interesting." you thought.

"Anyways, Y/n, what do you say about my offer?" Akaashi walked closer to you and smirked.
