Ring Ceremony

The day starts and the Sharma's arrive at fully decorated Basu Badi. Moloy arranges a photo shoot. Mohini asks nivedita to call anurag and the camera man to arrange camera. He nods and leaves for arranging the setup.

Nivedita goes into Anurag's room and sees him getting ready in white kurta. She asks ready Handsome Basu ? He turns over to see her at the door. He smiles and says di, please come in. She walks in humming Hmmm, ready ? He nods and says almost. She smiles and helps him wear his red shawl. He says thanks. She smirks. He asks by the way, you here ? She says oh yes ! I totally forgot, maa is calling you down. Come fast. And she leaves. He walks out of the room and then comes back to take the ring box which is on his study table. He comes down to see his would be bride has already arrived and clicking selfies with the relatives. He gets happy as well as nervous thinking he have to propose her in front of everyone. The camera man asks Mohini if the couple is ready then he can start his work. Mohini calls them and informs them about the photo shoot and asks them if they are ready now ? They nod in positive. Mohini informs the same to the photographer. He asks the new would be couple to come on the dias. They nod and accompany each other to stage. Anurag gets on the stage while Prerna stumbles with her multi - coloured lehanga and is about to fall down when he catches her on right time. Then Anurag gives his hand to her. She catches his hand tight in fear of falling down, he holds her hand and she climbs upon the stage. She thanks him. They both pose for pictures.

Then they are asked to sit beside each other. They does the same and have a deep passionate eye lock. Prerna thanks him for saving her from falling in her mind and smile. Anurag gets lost in her beauty and admires her thinking she is looking like a princess.

Prerna gets lost in a dream where she and her would be husband are in a room. He is hugging her from back lovingly and she is smiling widely showing her 32 teeth. The scene is romantic.

She is brought back to reality when Moloy and Mohini asks everyone to come forward for the ritual. All the people Sharma family, Basu family and the relatives gather for the ritual in the middle of the hall. Mohini informs Veena about the whereabouts of the ritual that the ornaments given to the would be bride will be held on the fish first. Veena objects saying that they are pure vegetarians and it's a sin for them to even think about the non veg. Nivedita stares at her mother. Prerna fears thinking the function may spoil due to different cultural rituals. Anurag notices her. Mohini says but the ritual is important to us belonging to a Bengali family. The relatives watch them like there's a drama going on.

Meanwhile Anurag who was listening all this reacts, suggesting them that they can keep the ornaments on the fish first then they can wash the ornaments and make prerna wear it. So that no one's sentiments are hurt. Everyone likes his Idea. Prerna smiles watching him for clearing the tension kind of atmosphere. When Anurag looks at her she looks somewhere as if hiding her smile. They settle down. The ritual goes on as per his wish. He makes her wear the bangles after washing it.

Everyone delightedly watch the ritual including the family members, the relatives and the priest.
