Christmas special

It was finally that time of the year. The last month of the year it had been at least 3 or 4 months since I've moved in with Hawks and I could say we've built quite a relationship.

It was almost Christmas and I still didn't know what to get Hawks knowing that he would go out and get me a huge expensive gift I would try to at least step up my game.

I thought of what hawks would love that wouldn't be too expensive to where I'm dirt broke and where it's not that cheap to where it looks like I'm dirt broke. But then it hit me Hawks is like a bird so why not buy him bird equipment.

The thing about hawks is that he doesn't like to be treated like a word and I also find it funny how he acts like one even though he technically is one he still is human.

I decided to go to the pet store to find bird toys and maybe get him a little friend. I spent at least 80 or $90 I had no problem with it because I knew he would love it or rather I would love seeing him mad at me thinking he would love it.

It was so excited for Christmas it was going to be different especially with Hawks the Pro Hero I've been crushing over since I was 7.

It was finally Christmas Day and Hawks being the child he is banged on my door waking me up at 9 in the morning. I spent all night wrapping his gifts so I was grumpy and tired.

But I didn't want to ruin his Christmas spirit so I dealt with it and got it. I went into the kitchen and started making breakfast as Hawks made us both a cup of coffee.

I really needed that coffee it woke me up right after we were done with breakfast. And that's when Hawks started running over to the tree to get his presents.

I bought him a few normal presents just so you know he doesn't be mad at everything I got him. As we sat in the living room he grabbed one of his presents then grabbed one of mine and handed it to me.

I thanked him and then he opened his present as I did the same. Like I said I knew he was going to buy me something expensive and big. He bought me a new car I know right a new car!!

I was excited but I also feel bad because he had to buy me a car most likely because he got tired of taking me to school every morning. I thanked him and waited for his reaction as he slowly but surely open his present.

Besides all the bird equipment and bird friend I got him a couple of normal things. Like cologne and watches and ties I know it sounds boring and original but I also bought him a couple of outfits from Gucci and some suits.

We open all our gifts and I start taking out the second round of gifts which were the bird equipment. He was pretty surprised when I told him I had gotten him more gifts so I ran and got them.

I gave him the first present which would be a wooden swing. He looked at me with confusion then I started laughing and handed him the next one.

The second present was a coconut Hut and that would be where the little bird friend would be sleeping. Again he looked at me with confusion and I gave him the last present.

I gave him a large box with the bird cage and bird treats in it. He got excited when he saw the big box and immediately started ripping off the wrapping paper. All my hard work being ripped into shreds 😭😭.

When he took out the birdcage and bird treats he started to get angry. He started shouting at me telling me he's not going to be living in a Birdcage and I'm not going to be feeding him bird treats and that he couldn't believe that I did this and that he didn't find it funny at all.

At first I thought it would be funny but I started to get worried he looked really upset and I didn't mean to hurt his feelings. 

" look Hawks I have one last present for you and I promise it won't be bird supplies it'll make you happy." I walk off and go get the new bird friend.

I come back and Hawk's eyes light up in his smile widens. I hand him the bird and he starts to chirp at it. It was the cutest thing I've ever seen and the bird started chirping back.

We set up all the equipment and place the bird inside the cage with his swing and Hut. I told Hawks he could choose the name since it was his new pet of course he decided to name the pet chicken.

Overall today was a pretty fun chill and cool day and I would say the best Christmas I've ever had.
