After Christmas everything was sorta different.

I felt tightly knit with my friends.

Well,

My real ones.

Me and Draco were very close.

Me and Blaise were quite good friends.

I wore the ring from Draco every single day.

It was my favorite.

Today was the mark of the new year.

I would be twelve in the spring.

Hogwarts was better than I ever could have expected.

Not just for my father's cause, but for mine.

I had real friends, and me and my old friends were happy.

I never really knew what it was like to be happy until Hogwarts.

I would say I was happy, but now I was really happy.

It is great.

"Keir?" Draco calls my name again.

I allow all my friends to call me that now.

"oh, sorry, yes?" I ask and straighten my posture.

"Happy new year Keir, im glad I met you." He says and I smile.

"Happy new year Draco." I say and pull him into a small hug.

I am at the New Year party for Slytherin, I was glad to be away from the three douchbags for once.

Michael pulls me away from Draco and into his dorm.

"Keir, man, it is hard to get a moment alone with you." He says and chuckles.

I smile and he smiles back.

"Michael, I know you, what is it?" I ask and he grins his goofy grin.

" I need girl advice.. " he starts and I cut him off with a smile.

"I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR SO FUCKING LONG!" I Exclaim and he chuckles nervously.

"Uh, yeah, could you maybe be quieter, please." He says and I nod.

"sorry, yeah."

"her name is Ally, she is a second year Slytherin, and she is beautiful!" He says and I nod.

I know her, she is a half blood.

"no." I say and he looks taken aback.

"Wha-, why not!?" He asks clearly angry.

"Mich, remember, control your emotions." I say and he nods and goes back to looking unemotional.

"why." He states more than asks.

"she is a half blood, its unacceptable. Im sorry Michael, you know our parents, my dads, rules." I say and he nods.

With that I turn and head back to my room.

What a horridly great way to end my evening.
