I wake up to an empty room. No sign of Vera anywhere.
It's my thirteenth birthday today and I wasn't super excited.
I get up and change into a black slip dress and red heels.

It was a Sunday but I didn't give a fuck I was going to stay out late and hang out with my friends, cheers to thirteen.
I open my dorm out into the corridor and walk down to the common room.
The Slytherin common room truly was stunning.
its under the black lake with windows everywhere so we can see the lake.
The floor made of black marble and the furniture is velvet and Emerald green.
It was truly a sight to behold.

There wasn't A single person there.

I scoff and plop down on a chair pouring my self some tea with a tea set that is always there.
I sip my jasmine tea slowly and read a book about magical creatures
After a while I've finished my tea and set the glass down on a table leaning forward.
I snap the book closed and throw it on the floor.
Where the fuck is everyone?
"Keirana?" I nervous looking first year approaches me from the corridor that they appeared from.
"what!" I snap and get up dusting my lap off.
"you've been summoned by Professer Snape." The boy says and I nod and wave my hand dismissing him.
He scurry's off in a hurry and I walk towards Snape's office.
Before I can even reach to the door to knock someone comes up from behind me and covers my mouth with a cloth while casting a sleeping spell.
Seriously?! On my birthday!

I jolt up and look around.
It's pitch black and I can't see a thing.
Fuck.
"hello?" I call out and no one answers.
"hello?" I call again this time standing up to try and find someone, or something.
I walk over to what looks like a door and open it.
I look up and the lights flip on with all my friends popping out of nowhere.
"SURPRISE!" They all yell and I laugh.
"gosh, I thought I was kidnapped and forgotten on my birthday!" I say and chuckle as my friends turn on some muggle music and dim the lights.
"So all of slytherin house might be arriving for a massive birthday party in ten minutes..." Kalvin begins and Blaise adds after.
"only slytherin." He says and I smile.
"you guys are the best." I say hugging them both and I head over to Vera.
"god I love you." I sigh and she laughs.
"happy birthday Keir, its a special one." She says and I nod grabbing a bottle of water and chugging it.
"I'll pretend its achohol." I say and she chuckles and shakes her head.
"we are way to young to drink." She says and I nod in agreement.
Little did she know i had my first shot when I was eleven.
It numbed the pain back then.
I don't have any pain nowadays.

I laugh as I see Blaise and Vera making out on a couch and Kalvin flirting with another girl on the loveseat.
I couldn't think of a better way to spend my birthday.

K, I don't have alot of inspiration but I swear third year will be better! Anyways- short filler but there will be another chapter tomorrow about gifts and Draco interactions. I know its a slow burn, but it gets heated when they get older, im trying to make it interesting but its hard, Keirana is only thirteen. On the other hand- A new character that im really excited for comes in third year!
