Yeji dislikes the idea of bringing a stranger to her home.

She kept contemplating with what had happened earlier in the day. She keeps thinking what if everything is just a hallucination. I mean, because she was too sleep deprived. Normal people would never start seeing creatures with wings, right?

Although she only saw them briefly, she could still remember how Lia controlled them to move, as if they were hers. She was thankful that she couldn't see them anymore, but it's still really likely that Lia still has them.

Yeji also remembers one moment.

The kiss.

Yeji covered her mouth with her hand as heat rushed up to her face, forcing herself to concentrate on driving.

"How embarrassing." Yeji thought. "I'm supposed to be an adult, yet I'm here acting like a high schooler."

She took a glance at the girl beside her, who was snoring peacefully like a newborn baby. Although, Yeji never meant to, she couldn't stop herself from studying the latter's features.

A slim body, an average-height nose structure, thin lips, cheeks that seemed as smooth as a baby's bottom. Her eyes were rather on the smaller side, her hair was colored charcoal and a circular built face.

Those features were all flawed to Yeji. But what she doesn't understand is how all those defective features combined would make someone look very beautiful.

Yeji was about to make a turn to the left, but she immediately stepped on the brakes, causing the tires to let out a screech.

Something had just flew right past her car. She saw it through the windshield. She didn't know what it was. It flew, so maybe a bird? But the structure was too big to be a bird, yet it had wings. It seemed like it was as big as a chicken, but chickens can't even fly.

Was it even that big? Was she just seeing things?

"What was that?" Yeji uttered as she gulped. She could only hope she didn't hit anything. She should have been paying attention to the road instead of the girl who was off to dreamland.

Yeji rolled her window down and stuck her head out, vigorously looking around her to see if she hit anything at all, but she then heard a noise of a crow that was balancing itself on top of a no parking sign.

Yeji sighed in relief. "Jesus christ, I almost just shit myself."

Rolling her window up, she continued to drive to her condo. After parking her vehicle, it was the moment when Lia opened her eyes and let out another yawn. Rubbing her eyes, she glanced at Yeji.
