"Lia! Lia!" He called.

"Yes, sir?" The girl replied.

Lia was the little sister. Kind of. She and Qeoped were not related. They were born differently, but not just in the sense of a soul having a physical body, but because neither of them looked like each other.

Lia didn't look like Qeoped, Qeoped didn't look like her. But they were paired to serve Ghalk, just like any other Ean.

Technically, no one in Arrhea is related by blood. But they have partners. Not lovers, but just partners.

Friends. People you look up to. And it just so happened that Lia looked up to Qeoped, a lot.

Qeoped was a curious Ean. He would always find a way to know why certain things were done. His curiosity brought him knowledge. But sometimes, his curiosity didn't satisfy him. He wanted answers to the questions he had. And that included his knowlegde about humans.

How did he find out about humans?

He got it from the Leiagi.

How did he know about the Leiagi?

Simple. It was because he stole it.

Normally, in Arrhea, stealing was a crime. Almost not every Ean knows about crimes. Heck, every Ean must not know what a crime is.

They were perfect after all.

But Qeoped was definitely knowledgable to know what it is. And even if he knew, he still did it.

The moment he did that, was he not an Ean anymore? Was he a criminal?

At home, he would preach about going to the human world. He would discover so many things that humans never even heard of. Creatures that exists beneath their lands and their waters, he almost knew a little about everything.

Arrhea doesn't have that many heroes. Heroes weren't needed, because everyone was good. There used to be a few, but they all had perished in their battles against the beings who opposed Ghalk's rulership.

Ghalk reinforced the entrance to Arrhea a thousand times more than any other realm. He made sure that no one could influence his perfect Eans.

But somehow, Qeoped was influenced with things that Ghalk would never approve of.

"There's so many things in the human realm that can't be found in Arrhea!" Qeoped preached. "Did you know that there is a wide body of water called the 'ocean'? Then there are things on the ground that are so high to reach called mountains? Well, we have mountains here, but in the human realm, they are made of rocks! Ours is made of gold."

Lia could only nod. She would be lying if she said his topic isn't interesting. The more Qeoped taught her about the human world, the more she developed her own curiosity.
