"What?"

Yeji gasped as she dropped two paper bags on the floor, creating a loud thud, as she found her glass door open.

Yeji's heart started racing, so did her head. Thinking of all the possibilities that might have happened.

The dream.

That didn't happen... It couldn't have been. Lia's alright. She's probably just hiding somewhere, right?

Yeji searched her entire room, every corner, she left every furniture moved out of place just to find the girl.

But she was nowhere.

Her only clue was the opened glass door.

This should be a good thing. Lia's gone, and she can go back to her old life again. She doesn't have to worry about Lia being taken away by bad guys, right? She doesn't have to worry about watching after her, right? She doesn't have to worry about her, right?

Wrong.

"Shit." Yeji muttered. Grabbing her car keys, and dashing to the elevator, that was under maintenance.

"Dammit!" Yeji ran and pushed the door to the stairs and ran down as fast as she could. She didn't know she had that kind of stamina to run that fast. From the 10th floor, she arrived at the underground parking lot in a split second.

She got inside her car and drove as fast as she could, searching the streets, the sky. She ran to 10 different buildings, taking every elevator, about 3 of them were under maintenance, so she had to run all the way, just to search for the girl.

Where are you? Yeji questioned in her head.

Wherever you are, please be safe.

She ignored the fact that she was so tired. She spent so many hours looking for the girl, she didn't even notice that it was 3am in the morning. She was still trying to find her.

She was running around the streets, in the cold night, not taking any breaks, not even stopping to catch her breath. Behind her, she could hear a raven squawking.

It's been about an hour since she heard it. It felt like the bird was following her.

She didn't pay attention to it, and kept running. When she stopped to look at where she was going, the same raven flew across her face, it's sharp nailed feet attacking Yeji's cheek, resulting to a scar, just under her eye. Blood started to seep out, causing her to grunt in pain.
