Y/n pulled the covers over herself as her tears fell endlessly onto the pillow.

Like any normal person, breakdowns are just a part of her life.

Working at SeaQuest wasnt an easy job, especially when you have loads of work to catch up on, and not enough time.

A few minutes later Lucas barged through the door. His hair was damp with sweat and he looked as if he had just ran a marathon.

"Y/n" Lucas whispered. "Y/n, I'm home" he walked over to the bed.

It was obvious to him that she had been crying.

"Baby, I know your awake" Lucas stroked Y/n's forehead.

"Talk to me."

She opened her eyes, full with tears.

"No" Y/n shook her head.

Lucas sighed and sat down on the bed.

"Darwin misses you" he muttered.

"I miss him too" Y/n's voice cracked.

Lucas smiled and got up from the bed.

"I know what will make you feel better"

He walked over to the record player, placing in their favorite record.

"Come here" he pulled Y/n up from the bed, interwining their hands together.

"Just you and me baby."

Y/n smiled as he placed a hand on her waist, slowly swaying side to side.

She hummed sweetly to the song as her tears ran out.

"I hope this can be our wedding song"
y/n whispered gently.

Lucas chuckled.

They danced to the other side of the room ending up right in the aim of the moonlight.

The sight was breathtaking for the both of them.

"J'adore tes yeux"

Y/n bit her lip.

Lucas looked confused.

"You don't know French?" She giggled.

"It means, i love your eyes"

Lucas smiled.

"Oh yeah? why?"

"They're just so.... captivating"

"Oh really" he smirked, twirling Y/n around so her back was pressed against his chest, still swaying.

"Well how do you say 'i love you' in French" Lucas mumbled into her neck.

"Je suis moches"

"Ok then...je suis moches" he repeated.

Y/n began to laugh.

"What? I pronounced it right, didn't I?" he pouted.

"Yeah, yeah you did" Y/n chuckled

"So then what's wrong?" Lucas asked innocently.

"Lucas, your so cute" Y/n turned around to squish his cheek.

"It means, I'm ugly, as in you're ugly"
Y/n laughed hysterically, poking her boyfriend's chest.

He rolled his eyes playfully.

"You little clown"

"Je t'aime" Y/n said.

"That's actually how you say I love u"

"Je t'aime" Lucas repeated, gently kissing her neck.

Y/n grinned, humming the tune of the song mixed with her own sigh of relaxation.

A short silence filled the air.

"Do you wanna talk about what happened" Lucas offered.

Y/n shook her head as she closed her eyes trying to relax herself.

All she wanted was to be with Lucas.

"You know, words nor actions could express just how much I love you" he stated.

"Even the word infinite couldn't express it enough."

"Lucas, no matter what happens, ever, not a day will go by where I dont miss you, or dont want to be with you."

Lucas let out is arm as Y/n swirled out and back in slowly.

"Kiss me" Lucas demanded.

Y/n smiled softly, cupping his face and leaned in.

He smiled, kissing her back.

"I love you not only for
what you are, but what
I am when I am with you"
