The Beginning Of The End

The last thing I remember was that thing. I had blacked out and when I came to I was being held in a tentacle that belong to this creature.

"Hello Tobias. Glad you're ok."

"W-who ar-r-re y-you?"

"You can call me Slenderman. Do you remember anything?"

"J-just the s-smoke, f-fire, and s-s-sirens."

"Ok."

Slenderman was the creature I saw at night after the incident. He wasn't as scary as I thought. He spoke nicely, and calmly even if his voice was deep and loud. He set me down and told me to follow as he exsplained what was happening.

"My mansion in these woods. Its like a safe haven for killers and the unexplained."

"Unexplained?"

"Creatures, demons, ghosts, the Unexplained."

"O-oh ok."

He continued to tell me how things work. About missions, everyone there, my role. I was a proxy along with like 5 people. We came up on the mansion. He opened the door. It was a big room with a long black couch, and 2 black love seats. The room lead to a kitchen with a long table. A girl with long wavy black hair sat on the couch with a little girl in a pink dress, and a boy that looked a little bit like link. The little girl had blood on her face, and the little boy had red eyes.

"Slendy! You're h- whos that?"

The little girl hid behind the older woman.

"Sally this is Toby. The new proxy."

"Hello Toby, I'm Jane."

She waved and smiled sweetly.

"This is Sally-"

"Hello!"

Sally, still slightly hidding behind Jane, smiled waving her hand. She looked happy to meet me, but cautious at the same time.

"Thats Ben."

Sally pointed towards the boy that looked like link. He was playing some video game. Jane looked towards him, saying his name again. He didn't budge. Jane huffed as she picked up a pillow throwing it at him.

"Ow! Jane the h-"

His voice was glitching. Sally laughed, Slender faceplamed.

"New proxy. Say hi."

"Oh sorry, Hi."

Jane got up, Sally at her side.

"We'll show him around. Guessing you already talked to him?"

"Yes I have. Thank you Jane."

"No problem."

Jane walked me around showing me what the things are.

"This is your room, lucky you my room is right here across the hall. Just knock if you need anything."

"O-ok. Thank you J-jane."

"No problem Toby. Hey how do you spell your name? T-o-b-y?"

"Y-yeah."

"Ok."

She took a peice of paper out of a sleve next to the door. She grabbed a sharpie out of her pocket and wrote. "Toby's Room" on the paper, sliding it back in the sleve. Most the doors here had a name next to them.

"So you'll know which room is yours. Most doors here have names next to them. This is one of the smaller rooms so you don't share with anyone, unless you want to. If you do you can just ask me and I'll talk to Slender."

"T-this is f-f-fine."

"Ok."

I looked down to Sally who was been watching the whole time. She was really quite. I leaned down and held out my hand. I smiled but I don't think she saw since I had my mouth guard on still. My goggles rested on my forehead. Sally reached up and grabbed my hand. Reaching up and sliding my goggles over my eyes. She giggled along with Jane.

"Do you want to play Toby?"

"S-sure."

"Really? Oh thank you! Jane, Toby, follow me!"

Sally grabbed my hand, racing down the hallway. Jane followed behind us.

Jane, Sally, and me where sitting down at a small play table eating fake food. Sally said she'd be back and walked off.

"Sally appreciates this. The only people that really play with her are, Me, Ben, and the animals."

"O-oh its f-fine. I had a s-s-sister growing up so it's n-normal." My tics had been going this entire time but once I said this I ticked really hard. My snapped my neck sideways and cracked it.

"Toby are you ok?"

Sally came back in and saw it. She cane over to me.

"I-its fine its just my t-touretts."

"Touretts?"

"I-it makes me tic and t-twitch. A-also it makes m-me st-studder."

"Oooohhh-"

She had a bucket in her hand. She went around the table putting stuff up.

"Are we done already Sally?"

"Im hungry."

"W-we were just e-eating."

"This is fake food Toby."

"O-oh ok." I chuckled.

"Are you hungry Toby?"

Jane looked at me, getting up from the tiny table.

"Y-yeah, I haven't e-eaten in a while."

"I figured. Well come on."

I followed them out to the kitchen. Going past a couple people. We got to the kitchen and I sat down next to Sally. Jane fixed all three of us peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. She sat down the plates infront of us, sitting down next me. There were a few people in the kitchen. A man with that looked a bit like Jane, but he had a smile ethched into his face which Jane said was named Jeff, a man with a blue mask named Jack, a girl with a clock in her eye named Clockwork, a man in a white mask with feminine characteristics named Masky, a man in an orange hoodie named Hoodie, Ben, and a girl that looked a lot like Jeff which I assumed was Nina. I took my mouth guard off and started to eat.

"Oh god, Toby are you ok?"

Ben looked at me. Now everyone was looking at me.

"Y-y-eah im f-f-fine w-w-hy."

"Toby your cheek, theres a gash in it."

"Does it hurt?"

Sally looked up at me.

"N-no? I-I can't f-feel pain. My e-entire bodys n-num. I must've b-bitten a h-hole in my cheek." I looked down and fiddled with my thumbs. I don't really do well in spot light. I twitched hard, and pulled my mouth guard back up. I got up from the table and walked towards my room.

"Toby wait-"

Jane called after me, but I just kept going. I was embarrassed and confused. I just wanted to lay down
