Where's Jack?

Ok, now I knew why BEN always screwed around with people. This shit was fun as hell! For the past, oh I don't know, 4 hours? I've been screwing around on cleverbot with BEN. I mean, it's one way to get my mind off Jack.

...Jack. I had completely forgotten about him. Hoodie said he was out on a mission, but he had been out since before I had woken up. His missions aren't supposed to take this long I thought, since he isn't a proxy? Normally normal missions take less then 5 hours.. Jack has been gone since before I woke up, and it's currently 4pm.

BEN noticed that I wasn't paying attention much anymore, and decided to get my attention.

"Hey, um- Twitchy? Ya good there?"

I lifted my head up a bit at the sudden words and looked at BEN.

"How l-long- fuck- how long d-do m-missions normally l-last for you guys?"

"Uhhh- I dont know. I do mine virtually, and I purposely take a couple days. Normally tho, for a mission it's an hour or so. 3 at the latest. Why?"

"I-its just um- fucking cows- J-jacks been out f-for over 5 hours.."

"Aw, worried for your little lover?"

"B-BEN."

"Ok, ok- but you're right.."

I looked at BEN who sat down his computer to the side. He looked at the door then towards the area of Slenders office.

"..maybe you should ask Slender about that actually. Jack has never been gone this long. Well- not to my knowledge."

"Okay. I-I'll be pumpkin s-spice back later."

"Alrighty then. Have fun."

"Mhm.."

I got off the couch and walked, or well- quickly sped, towards Slenders office. My tics got a bit worse as my anxiety rose. What if something bad happened to Jack? What if the cops got to him? What if he's injured??

I walked up to Slenders door and knocked quickly, getting an 'enter' as a response.

"Ah, Tobias. I actually wanted to talk to you about something, but sit child. What is your question?"

"It's a-about Jack.."

"Yes, I am aware it is about Mr. Nichols. You are worried, correct? About his whereabouts?"

"Y-yes s-sir."

"He is completely fine and safe, I assure you. Jack and SeedEater went out on a mission and are currently just roaming. They should be back soon."

I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding. Jack was just taking a break from the chaos here, he wasn't hurt or killed or caught. It was a huge relief.

I slumped back in the chair, thankful. Until Slender spoke up again.

"You know, you surprised me Tobias."

I looked at Slender confused.

"Surprised?"

"Yes. As we talked about earlier, you know that Jack has been here for quite a few years, and never have I seen anyone or anything get close to him like you have. You aren't scared or fearful like the others. You trust him, and he knows that. Jack is.. a very complex person. He isn't very trusting, but you- you Tobias- have somehow broke through the walls he has built to keep other out. That my boy, takes a lot. And it seems like I won't be able to keep you guys separate anymore."
