New Chaos

I stopped ease dropping immediately.

That was something I was.. definitely not supposed to hear.

I walked into the kitchen and leaned onto a chair. Did the Zalgo dude kidnap BEN? Is something bad about to happen?

What the hell is going on?

I couldn't tell if things had gotten worse or better. I mean, my questions had been answered but more questions had erupted. 

I decided maybe going outside would help?

I opened the sliding glass door and stepped out onto the wooden deck, sitting on the railing. The sun was coming through the trees, but not in a blinding way. It was soft. All trees swayed slightly as the breeze went by. It was calming.

I took a deep breath in letting the fresh air consume my lungs. It was refreshing. I guess being stuck in that house made me forget how much I love the outdoors. The trees, the wind, the sky. The sound of birds and other little animals and insects.

I felt at peace for once in this chaotic life. If chaotic was a word that could even touch the basis of what my life was at this point.

"If o-only things weren't so scattered right now.."

"Scattered."

I jumped letting out a squack of terror-

"S-seedeater-! Jesus c-christ, I d-didnt know you were th-there"

"Toby's sad?"

"What? I-im not sad. Just-"

I stopped. Was I sad? Or was I just confused? Scared? Anxious?

What was I feeling? How could I not know what emotions I have?

Am I really that fucked up?

"Hunt"

Seedeater snapped me out of my downward spiraling.

"Do w-what?"

"Hunt. Come?"

"O-oh, um-"

I looked back at the house. It was around 630-7 am. Jack wouldn't be up for a while, and neither would anyone else I think. So it's not like they'd freak out. And it wasn't uncommon for people to just leave and come back hours later.

Although, slender might freak out due to the whole BEN situation.

"Yeah, l-lets go. We gotta be qu-quick tho. I don't w-wanna be gone to l-long."

Seedeater nodded and started walking into the woods. I jumped off the balcony and landed in the grass, my feet hitting the soft ground and making the left over water from the storm bounce back onto my shoes.

-----------about 30 minutes later------------

I continued walking beside Seedeater in the quiet of the forest. It was nice, the walking in silence. I had cleared my head and the sound of the animals and the soft crunching of leafs made me happy.

The leafs were falling from the trees and it was cool to see them swim around in the wind. It reminded me of walking around on Halloween-

"HALLOWEEN-!"

I happy stimmed at the thought- it was October 15th- Halloween was super close, and it was my favorite holiday. I wonder if I could go out on Halloween without being noticed?

"Halloween?"

Seedeater looked at me as he stopped walking, he immediately looked back into the trees.

"S-sorry- I forgot how close Halloween was- I absolutely l-love Halloween!"

I smiled and looked at Seedeater who was starring off into the distance.

"Back."

"W-what?"

"We go back."

"What w-why? We didn't-"

Seedeater started to growl, but not at me.

I looked at where he was looking- it was someone. Er- something? I couldn't even tell.

"Toby, we go. Now."

"W-what is it?"

"It's who is it thank you every much."

Just then someone stepped out of the bushes. They had horns and mouths covering their body. And they were wearing a stripped outfit- they definitely weren't human but I've never seen them before.

"Hm, you must be a new guy if you don't have your weapons out on sight."

"W-who are y-you?"

"You can call me Stripes dear."

Stripes started getting closer to me and Seedeater. Seedeater growled in response instead of pouncing on her, which confused me.

I stood up straight to try and be the bigger person, and not show any signs of fear. Although I wasn't scared, just horribly confused.

"A-again, who are y-you?"

"I told you my name already kid."

"Y-you know what I m-mean."

"Im-"

Stripes sentence was cut short by someone yelling from the tree branches above us.

"You're a no-good demon."

I looked up to see someone, who I again, don't know. He jumped from the tree to the ground between us and pointed off the opposite direction.

"Get the hell out of here.. no one will be pleased finding you here. And you're by yourself? You have to be stupid."

"Calm it. I was just gonna relay a message."

She looked back at me.

"Tell your 'master' that he's correct in his theories. And that he needs to be wary."

"H-hes not my m-master."

"Mhm, okay."

"Get. Go back to your home Stripes."

"Fine, fine. At least I can actually go back to my loved ones."

And with that, she disappeared. The guy just sat there before turning to me. He had on a hat and a green jacket type wear. A long with that he had an over the shoulder strap bag that had something- (maybe a camera?) in it, and a mask.

The mask had black circler eyes and 6 squares inside a rectangle wear the mouth would be.

"She was right- about you being new?"

"Hm? Oh- um- y-yeah."

I looked at Seedeater who had sat down. He wasn't growling anymore so I calmed a bit down, this guy must be one of Slenders people.

"Hm"

He turned back to where Stripes had gone, then back to me.

"Makes sense."

"W-what do you mean? W-who are you?"

"That was Stripes. One of Zalgos children. You would've known that already had you not been new."

"Zalgo? T-the guy Slender was t-talking about?"

"Oh? So it's true.."

He patted me on the back.

"Welp you guys are fucked."

The dude jumped back into the trees and started to leave.

"W-wait what? W-who the hell are you?!"

"Call me Skully."

I watched as Skully left. Seedeater started to walk off the other direction.

"We hunt later."

I just stood there looking around.

"WHY T-THE FUCK D-DOES THIS SHIT HAPPEN TO M-ME?"
