The next morning you woke up from the sound of your ringtone. You lazily stretched as the morning sun was hitting your face through the open windows. You rolled over and reached for your phone and answered the call without looking who was calling. It wasn't something you usually did, but you knew that there were only a few people who it could be, this early in the morning.

It was Amy, calling to give you an update on Killian that you asked. Apparently, he just had a slight food poisoning, and Imogen freaked out for no reason. He was fine now and eager to go home. Apparently, her nephew wasn't the only one, since your favourite redhead already booked herself a ticket back for Sunday evening. She also said that he loved the toy car you bought him and couldn't stop driving it around. Even Amelia's sister approved, which was a rare occurrence, so you took special pride in it.

You and Imogen weren't fans of each other, but always had an understanding between you. Every time you and Amelia came to Galway, you and her sister would get pissed and talk about how you hate everyone and everything. Literally everyone and everything, with a few exceptions. Her husband, Neil, was the kindest man alive. Even Tom looked like a rude bogan beside him. He always did anything Imogen wanted with the brightest smile a human can produce and wore one of his many kilts around the home. Neil had dark hair, as opposed to her red, green eyes, unlike her brown. She was slim and short, and he was tall and looked like one of those muscular cartoon characters that could lift an elephant with one hand. And considering that Imogen was a Margaret Thatcher level of cunt, the pairing seemed even more unlikely. But it worked perfectly and made you feel hopeful that if even shitty people like Imogen found their happiness, you would too.

You didn't think of yourself as a nice person. You knew well that you could be stubborn, aloof and plainly rude to people you weren't particularly fond of, at times. But you were a professional and always kept your emotions to yourself at work. And if someone didn't like you outside of it, they can fuck right off. You were incredibly grateful to have Tom and Amy in your life, the two people who put up with all of your tantrums.

You had the day off, and you decided to enjoy it for once. You slowly stood up from the bed and went to the bathroom. You felt the wave of energy rush through you as the cold water hit your face. A pair of Y/E/C eyes were piercing through you from the mirror. You brushed your teeth and changed into jeans and a black sweatshirt. You then took your sports bag, car keys and headed to the gym. You spent the next few hours working out. It didn't just help you stay in shape but also clear your mind. You then took a cold shower there to freshen up and headed out. You stopped to grab some lunch on your way home in your favourite café. It was small and cosy, but most importantly, private. Now you were finally comfortably sitting in the chair in your home office.

One may think that you wouldn't work on the weekend. But for you, it was your way to relax. You went through the files Jen left for you the other day relatively quickly. Then you remembered Robin and her failed attempt of an initiative, causing your mood to drop. You then called Jen to tell her that you are pleased with everything. You sent a few more emails and had nothing else to do.

You couldn't help but think about Cate. Her shiny blonde hair, her piercing blue eyes, her warm smile. What was she doing? Did her kids like the presents? You even wanted to call her or text her but changed your mind. She was spending the weekend with her family, with her kids and her husband. You brushed off your thought about the actor and, decided to focus on something else. You spent the next couple of hours working on your screenplay before your phone rang again.

Biscuit

You smiled when you saw the name on the screen and immediately answered.

"Hi, pet!"
